— Noisey (@NoiseyMusic) December 18, 2013Before you knew of your influence on all these people, you’ve mentioned that you did Playboy for the publicity—would you recommend the experience to others now?
Nancy Sinatra: I did it primarily because I needed the press…I needed the attention and I needed the money. I couldn’t have gotten my One More Time album out there if I hadn’t done that pictorial. Essentially, Hugh Hefner, in giving me a hefty salary, was responsible for getting that album out. That’s not exactly true, but it’s partly true. I guess I might [recommend it] if it were a Playboy situation. With Playboy you’re protected. You’re taken care of, they look after you, they make sure everything is on the up-and-up. It’s not a scumball publication, it’s beautiful. I think if you have the chance to do something that will help you further your career, maybe you should consider doing it. Talk it over with family. But again, it’s the people that you’re working for. I’m so happy that Adam Lambert’s doing Glee, because he’s getting all that extra notice. I don’t know if you know that in the New York Times crossword puzzle from Sunday, Adam Lambert’s in there. That’s really great, it takes a lot to get into the Times crossword puzzle! So I’m gonna email his mom and tell her to look for that.
Are you friends with his mom?
Nancy Sinatra: I’ve only met her once but we hit it off really well. And he’s my next door neighbor.
Oh wow.
Nancy Sinatra: So we run into each other here and there, in the driveway or in the hallway or the elevator.
But you don’t have any crazy stories about his, like, parties or anything…
Nancy Sinatra: Nah, he’s a great neighbor. Such a great guy, I’m crazy about him. What a great voice too.

That's a really awkward paragraph.
Interesting that the daughter of such a famous persona still had to do things "for the money," like appear in Playboy. Show biz success requires taking advantage of opportunities that come your way. Nancy seem like a good person, and boy! does she ever gush about ADAM! Like her little plug for him being on Glee. She should work as his PR agent.

Love her! What great compliments for Adam. This is really big. Nancy Sinatra has lots of connections. She really admires Adam and likewise I am sure. They seem to adore each.
How great to have a wonderful neighbor of her stature and not a tell it all nosey body. She respects Adam's privicy and I am sure he respects hers.
Loved Nancy's interview; glad she is in Adam's life. Is there anybody that does not like Adam?

She seems nice, but dont understand the need to drop adam's name in every interview.it was sweet @ first, but now becoming weird.
Nancy obviously ADORES Adam, just like we do :)) I see nothing wrong with bringing up his name whenever the mood strikes. Kudos to her for knowing talent and "good people" when she sees them. She's been an outspoken and VERY supportive fan of Adam Lambert since Idol. She's said more than once that he should have won. I agree of course!
I've been following Nancy Sinatra on Twitter for at least the past 2 or 3 years (she follows back btw which is so endearing of her). She is a wise and kind woman, very down to earth and very sweet. Also quite politically astute and supportive of Equality for All. I like her A LOT.
It's so nice that she continues to be active in the music business. And LUCKY HER to be living in the same building as Adam. It's nice that Leila and she have connected also.

Not everyone has an agenda when they say they like someone and acknowledge someone's awesome talent.
I personally like Nancy for who she is as a person. And I appreciate that she is an enthusiastic Adam Lambert fan. Just like WE are :)) I came to "know" her better when she was "outed" as a Glambert. We're all in this together...And if Adam gains some new fans by hearing/reading Nancy's interview comments about him, then COOL!!!
