It hasn't actually been announced when Adam will be on. The program STARTS on Feb. 24th.. But no schedule of guest judge appearances as far as I've seen..

From US Magazine:

Excerpts:

"RuPaul's Drag Race premieres Monday, February 24th at 9 PM ET/PT on Logo TV."

"As fans of Drag Race already know, for her back-to-back guest-judging stints, [Khloe] Kardashian will join RuPaul and fellow judges Michelle Visage and Santino Rice to help select her episodes' winners -- and which performers will have to "sashay away." Other boldfaced celebs guest-judging for this go-round? Neil Patrick Harris, Adam Lambert, Game of Thrones' Lena Headey, Exorcist star Linda Blair, actress Sheryl Lee Ralph, comedian Heather McDonald, rappers Eve amd Trina, Leah Remini, Jaime Pressly, Paula Abdul, David Burtka and designer Bob Mackie. Guest appearances are also expected from Community's Gillian Jacobs, Broadway legend Lainey Kazan, comedian Bruce Vilanch, Chaz Bono, and Us Weekly's own Entertainment Director, Ian Drew!"

So it's gonna be a Drag Race and a Gay Ski Week in Aspen.

Adam is now into sports and healthy lifestyle, eh?

Understand that Adam is going to Aspen, maybe with Markus, for some gay event. Is this what the clues were for? Drift, Descent, flames to warm up with by fireside. Can't see Adam skiing but can see him with hot toddy by fire place. The lamp looks like one they would have in a ski lodge.

Another interesting "vid" analysis :)) Could be!!!

I don't think there is a record deal yet. All the clues seem to point to the Gay-week-ski event. Disappointing though. Don't care about the Drag Queen event either. Would rather hear he is working on his album or single.

I remember seeing and hearing Ru Paul in the 70s on radio interviews. He is really very smart and funny and obviously a successful businessman. I think this event will be fun. Sure is full of other known names. Adam should have a blast.

Don't know aboutthe ski thing. Adam said that he skiied a few times years ago. Could be interesting.

We'd all love to hear about a label and new music. In the meantime, I'll enjoy what Adam is up to. The other news will come. He did say that there WILL be new music this year. And that a label signing will happen.

DRG

Anonymous said...

@DRG Yes of course there will be new music and a record deal! I always love your positive posts. that picture of Adam is beautiful and hope he has fun in Aspen.

Anonymous said...

David Arquette, has opened a new night club in Aspen, partnered with John Terzian, Brian Toll and Markus Molinari. Which might explain why Adam is possibly going there. Also what all the clues were about. It all fits now.

Anonymous said...

at 12:34 PM

Oh well, after these flamboyant gay events it will be even harder for him to gain the mainstream support he really needs to break through.

Middle-aged women and the hard partying, superficial gay community will not take him very far. But perhaps that is enough for him and makes him happy.

Sorry about the negative rant but I've had my share of drag queens and recreational partying with Molinari and friends.

I am looking forward to seeing something new and fresh and I think it is high time.

glitzylady said...

Well...rats!!!

If the Aspen thing is what Adam was doing all the "mystical" instagram vids about: "Drift, Descent, Flame"... and not cryptic clues about a new label soon-ish, I'm going to have to spank his cute little **ASS-pen** the next time I see him ;))))

Because, while I'm glad and all he's going to Aspen for whatever reason, I was soooo hoping it was more about labels and not about apres'-ski.. :))))) But oh well....

Moving on...

Anonymous said...

What is so exciting about Adam judging a bunch of drag queens. So how will they help him in the mainstream music, and help to get a label. He never said he WILL get a label, he said he was in talks with several prospects. He so needs a label to get his career going again, and to be back in the public eye and on radio.

12:53 and 1:05, go away, you are not needed here.

Anonymous said...

Adam has said before that he knows how to ski.

Anonymous said...

omg the broken record people are here. lol They are funny.

Anonymous said...

Clues no longer about Lava record label, now Adam was sending clues about a ski trip. LOL.

Anonymous said...

Quick, somebody make the clues fit RuPaul's Drag Race.

You can drift race cars. And if you descent a cliff it ends in flames.

Anonymous said...

Watching a show called Catfish on Logo tv and they show the promo for RuPauls Drag race alot. Showing Paula Abdul Neil Patrick Harris and Adam! It's a very popular show and won't hurt Adam at all, plus he starts Glee in Feb. too!

Anonymous said...

Sometimes I get a nervous feeling that though Adam will hold on to celebrity status, it will be as handsome gay guy who occasionally sings. A second or third tier celebrity who hangs on by his painted fingernails. I hope that's not the case, he's too talented to just be a sexual novelty act.
Surely that won't happen to him. It just can't.

The Dark Side said...

Well if you are a RuPaul fan then you will enjoy Adam as a judge. He will bring his own glamor to the show, if you haven't watched it, you might like it. I think Adam is a stock holder of sorts in these night clubs. IMO He will make his music announcement when he is ready. Mainstream be damned if they are not on the Adam train, their loss.

Anonymous said...

I thought his clues were pretty original on those Ig pics. Adam please do not ski or only the baby slopes. I guess anyone who is in the mainstream now will be immediately kicked out because they appeared on The Drag Race. lol

That is exactly what he is now. A gay reality show contestant who likes to play dress up and walk a red carpet and occasionally sings.

Anonymous said...

1:23 just calm down sweetie every thing will be ok. I get nervous about your internet trolling addiction too.

Anonymous said...

This is not the news I was hoping for. He needs to breakthrough to mainstream audiences. Sorry, but I am disappointed. I think he is not going in the right direction and blame his management.

Anonymous said...

How many times can one troll comment and answer herself? Maybe will see a new world record on this thread today folks.

Anonymous said...

wow some of you are so mean. Adam first of all is not a drag Queen,he stopped wearing nail polish and make up so what's the problem with him being a judge on Rupaul's show.Adam is going to get a record label and do just fine. I guess this site is getting me upset because of the negativity and some trolls on here.

Anonymous said...

I think Adam will be a good judge and I'll be looking forward to seeing Paula also.

Anonymous said...

There is a troll with multiple personality disorder who likes to write negative same type of comments and respond to her comments dragging Adam and his fans into the mud. Go away hater!

Anonymous said...

Has the drag program been prerecorded already? I sort of get that impression from GL click here.

Anonymous said...

The good news is he filmed a tv show without our knowledge. Who knows what else he has up his sleeves.

glitzylady said...

By the way, this (RPDR) is most likely a one night deal. It'll be fun to watch, I have no doubt. Not to mention, this is most likely not all he's going to be doing this year. 2014 has just barely begun. Adam has said it's going to be "MAJOR", and I'm pretty sure he wasn't just referring to Drag Race and going to Aspen :)

So while I agree that I would love to see Adam do some more mainstream shows, events, etc. as the year unfolds. (Don't forget he's going to be on Glee for a few more shows..), let's maybe just sit back and enjoy that anticipated "Intense Forward Motion" that Adam was hinting about recently. Which no doubt includes new label, new music, etc.. and who knows what else..

glitzylady said...

@Anon 1:55 PM
Yes, already filmed apparently, at least parts of it....as per the Ru Paul teaser preview I posted at 12:02 PM (and earlier at 11:56 PM without the direct "click" link)..

Anonymous said...

It's been 1.5 years since the last album! Give the man a chance to record new music. You don't pop out decent albums like cheeseburgers. You doomsdayers are an impatient bunch.

I watch a lot of tv and have never seen a commercial for RuaPaul's drag race. The "delicate" mainstream music listeners won't know even know he was a judge. No one's sensibilities will be harmed.

Anonymous said...

Guise, just happy that Adam's happy, the best clue that he is doing what he wants to be doing. Everything in its own time. It's about the journey, not the destination, peeps.
Cut Adam some slack. You try to accomplish even a fraction of what he is doing. If you don't like the pace of Adam's career, try someone else--there are plenty out there for you to follow. Me? I'm staying put with someone who rocks my world, busy or just chillin'.

Anonymous said...

1:55, Yes, Drag Race records weeks in advance.

I bet he will not step a foot out of the bar there... He does not seem to be interested in skiing nor any other sport.

Anonymous said...

OH MY GOD!!! I am SO happy that Adam Lambert continues to do what HE wants to do with his life and career. He is the ONLY one who knows what's best for him! Go Adam. Love following you in all the different directions you go. So exciting!

Anonymous said...

RPDR isn't the type of show that attracts a mainstream audience. I wouldn't worry about Adam's "reputation" in that regard. He says that 2014 has some big things ahead. It MUST be new music along with other things.

With luck, we may actually get a pic of Adam wearing skis. Maybe not skiing, but wearing skis. LOL

@1:33 PM

Just wondering, who are you and what do you do, Mr. Man or Ms. woman? It is hard to tell. I do know, that a human homophobic troll by any other name would still be a human homophobic troll. Your gender is not important, but, you seem so pitiful; I can't believe there is more than one of you on here; two at the most.

Not many people's mind can go that low without exploding! Perhaps you should take, note and be more concerned about your own life.

Adam seems to be doing just find. He is handsome, healthy and from all indications; financially stable. Unless he comes to you for financial help; you should not worry about his life in any way. Real waste of time!

I just knew that 2014 was going to be big; and this is just the beginning. Those worried about a label; not to worry; that is in the works to; Adam said so, and I believe Adam!

Anonymous said...

@2:04
For goodness sake stop saying "guise" it's "guys". Got that off my chest, now I feel better, LOL
Adam is his own worst enemy, has always been since the AMA's. He did that on purpose, to prove a point, but it sadly back fired, and has never been forgiven.
I am happy he is living the life that makes him happy, but it is a shame that the world cannot enjoy his God given voice, and at this rate never will. I have followed him from the beginning of Idol, and would like to see him build his empire. Niles and Queen can only do so much for him, the rest he has to do himself. I don't think he is ready to release a new album, there is no reason to think it will do any better than the last one, which is sad. Might be Glee will help get his name out, but it is a very poorly rated show. If Idol would give him some exposure it could help, but even they are not sure of him, except for possibly a one time appearance. Even then he has no new song to promote. Not even one, to show for the last 2 years. He has now resorted to doing covers, which by the way I have loved, but it's still not his own music.
Oh, well we will see if a miracle will happen in 2014, I am ready for it.

Anonymous said...

I just love Adam no matter what. He is my solace and big inspiration. Motivates me to be myself. Love him.

Adam is over 21 years of age and he can go to bars. But, if I were you, I would not be to worried about where our
jet setting international super star was stepping. I would be more concerned about you and your jealous crazy talking self stepping anywhere near Adam.
For the record, you don't know anything about what Adam is doing; or any of his activities unless Adam or someone else may post it on the internet.

Anonymous said...

This is great, so happy for Adam. I am so glad he is going on this show. He is accepting of all people.

I hope he goes on every show that invites him. This is wonderful that someone of his fame, that people look up to in the Gay and straight community; does not turn his back especially on his own community and the straight community which he is a big part of too. Adam is a member of the human community; and that is so much how he lives his life. Loving everyone. I love this beautiful man so much!!

@2:33 PM - Post #1

So you have taken on the role of the grammer police. Who cares if you feel better. You are being extremely rude to one of Adam's fans. It was not the spelling that bothered you. You just resented the high praise the person was giving Adam. You my "not" friend are a bully.

Also, what kind of so called fan are you. You are not fooling anyone. You compliment Adam; then in the next, sentence you tear him down. You can cut out the bull. In my opinion you are no fan; and you sound like you have a personal hate against Adam. He does not need your advice.

If you want to guide someone's life. I suggest yourself. Stop pretending you are a fan of Adam's. I don't believe it for one hot second!

I channel surfed one night 5 or 6 years ago and happened upon RPDR and out of twisted curiosity I watched it. At first I felt a little queezy about what I was seeing...a show with men dressing up as women. The longer I watched the more into it I got because it was so real. It's funny, it's sad, it's informative and it's mind opening. I dvr'd it for the next showings and was soon a convert. I loved some of the guys and disliked some others. It was never about their being gay, it was their personalities and their character. I watched the year Sutan won as Raja and he is an amazing man and made the most beautiful woman you can imagine. It was not shown last year and I really missed being able to watch it. I'm going to put it on my dvr list asap so I get notified when it's going to be shown.

I was what some of you would have called "mainstream" and I'm here to say that if you have the chance, this is a show you will enjoy and you will even gain knowledge of the lgbt community and what these men have gone through in their lives. Be prepared to laugh until you cry and cry until your heart hurts.

@2:04 For goodness sake stop saying "Niles" it's "Nile." From your post, I think you would complain about being hung with an old noose.

This is a first for me. Today I've been called a troll. I posted a comment at 1:23. Now that I re-read it I see I shouldn't have expressed what I was feeling at the moment. I think Adam is wondrously talented and if wishing could make him a Grammy winner I could have wished him there all by myself. I won't whine and say it's not fair, that's a dumb statement. No one is promised fairness in life.

I guess in a low moment I let my fear of Adam not being able to reach his full potential spill over. Now I know, if it isn't positive I'll just keep it to myself.

However it seems that I am not alone in having a negative moment. Don't call people names if they feel discouraged occasionally.

@3:46pm As a Persian-American myself, I have a great small business that I communicate with mainstream Americans that I love them to death and I socialize and do business with other Persian-Americans here in US. At one point I did business with Persians in Iran but unfortunately because of sanctions I can't until sanctions are lifted. I lost tons of money that it could have helped taxes here in US. Oh well I'm content and not too much attached to material things. I don't like to discriminate anybody. At times I feel comfortable with my own kind to have a good time.

I'm sure Adam is the same way with his small business. He doesn't like to discriminate. He has done tons of different projects in mainstream in US and abroad. He is a successful artist. Sometimes we have to cut him a slack to hang around with people he feels more comfortable with.

I don't see anything wrong with that and I'm sure most fans don't either.

I really want to clear up this "mainstream/non-mainstream" thing, at least when it comes to myself.

I'm so NOT mainstream (in both "camps" really: sometimes yes, sometimes no. Definitely when I'm in my "Adam Lambert flail" mode: no, because he just isn't..), but I would also LOVE for Adam to have some chances to be SEEN more by the general public. Whatever that takes.

GLEE has been a really great opportunity for him. Fingers crossed for more of those types of "mainstream" network TV things. A lot of those more "mainstream" types, including friends of mine, watch the show, and I've heard some really positive comments from people who've seen him in Glee... Those who know I **kinda** like him :))) and who were extremely impressed, particularly by his Marry The Night performance. They were quite blown away, actually. More of those mainstream chances to show and remind people who he is and why he was so amazing on Idol would be so awesome! So that's why I wish that for him.

As an aside, I saw a comment somewhere on the blog in the past day or so, that said "Americans don't watch Idol.." which is, excuse my "French", um...baloney! Many many do, and to be honest, many people also do at least know who Adam Lambert is (except the ones who mix him up with Adam Levine :)..but anyway..) but so many have some very vague memory of him.. in some way or another. Some are favorable, some not so much..some a bit of both. He would really benefit with some "mind refresher moments" to remind the general public WHY we loved him..and why a lot of us still do, and why we are still so passionate about this non-mainstream guy who sings.

That doesn't mean that he must BECOME "mainstream".. Not at all. To be honest, it seems he's already doing a few things to change his "glitz-glam" image, perhaps in anticipation of appealing to more of the general public. Or maybe he just wants a change. He was quoted a couple of days ago, that he is no longer doing the make-up..

And one last thing: A LOT of people watch Ru Paul's Drag Race, more than you might think. I watched every episode when Sutan/Raja was on. Even those people who you might think are strictly "mainstream" watch it. I've run across more than a few people who rather surprised me..

I think it's GREAT that Adam will be on the show.. Just crossing my fingers for more TV for him as time goes on..

@4:08pm: You shouldn't have to explain, justify or apologize for your concerns or opinions. You have just as much right to them as any other here. I too, share your concerns. We just want the best for him and for him to realize his dream. He seems to want mainstream success (choosing what will be played on radio etc.) but he still doesn't seem to realize he needs to move away from the stereotypical roles he's chosen in the past. Those have gotten him nowhere.
You'll never convince most here so don't bother wasting your breath. They are happy living in their bubble so just sit back in the real world and watch them wallow in their fantasy, as I have done. Most are way too immature to ever face reality. Makes for good rainy day viewing;)

He wants to achieve mainstream success being his authentic self. My gosh don't you get that by now. His life, RuPaul's life, Sutan's life, Jim McGreavy's life, Lily Tomlin's life, Barney Frank's life, Anderson Cooper's Life, Robin Robert's life, Billie Jean King's life, Jason Collin's life, Elton John's life, Tom Bridegroom's life... gay citizens of this planet we share, no matter how "mainstream" gay or wildly flamboyant gay deserve to be universally accepted in a "mainstream" and traditional way for their lifestyle choices as long they are not hurting anyone and paying their taxes, so to speak. Adam doesn't want to have to make choices contrary to choices he would make any given day in his life to achieve mainstream success in the entertainment industry. Yes, from Adam puts out there, he still is going for mainstream success... and my gosh, if Duck Dynasty folk can achieve mainstream success, why can't RuPaul participants??? @4:38pm, I believe you are sincere in your sentiments, and I even understand the notions you bandy about in your post... but perhaps you should try entertaining the concept that Lambert indeed wants to achieve a form of mainstream success, being exactly who he is, and why shouldn't he. Why does he have to be "safe" like Matt Bomer? Who Adam M. Lambert appears to be is a pretty cool human being, flawed like all of us, but pretty dang cool overall, not so untraditional, not so left of center is perhaps how he should be seen.

@5'07: It just boggles your tiny mind that there could actually be more than one intelligent realist here that shares the same rational opinion, doesn't it?

So many from Idol would love to have had the success Adam had. A bunch of trolls that have been blocked from every post known to man will never hurt Adam.
Know one that knows Adam would pay any attention to them.
glee is a main stream show and its rating are way better than X factor on most weeks.
Adam MTN was terrific and the fourth biggest down load in five years.
It woo help him a lot.
RPDR has many straight and gay judges on there. It's exposure will not hurt him a bit. No matter what the trolls of the Internet pathetic rantings say. That was Glee will help him a lot. Think more TV to come. Not just RPDR. Lots of good things to come. Gonna kill the low life trolls!

Well you and I are sitting at a computer screen aren't we... and Mr. Lambert is out having, by all accounts, a cool f*ckin' life... so I guess one of the three of us has the upper hand now doesn't he?

Anonymous said...

We've got one troll agreeing with themselves because no one else will.

Anonymous said...

@5:12 your post was very mature & intelligent, so you are a step above the rest;)
And if you are indeed correct, and that is how Lambert insists on doing things-then good luck. I mean it's really worked for him in the past, eh? Almost 5 years and still most people don't have a clue who he is. Yep. Keep up the good work Lambert. You're an icon in your own little community. Well done.

I agree with you 5:20. Transparent is that person. They don't see it is quite ascertainable from how they write/post that they are one in the same on many posts, maybe not all, but many.

Since it seems that Adam is going to Aspen, he might just find the love of his life, a nice little twinkie snow bunny. Life is full of opportunities, and Adam will have fun, even it is for a few days.

Persia is the old term for modern day Iran. People call themselves persians instead of iranians since most americans are too ignorant to know this. They are hiding the fact they are from Iran. Too bad they feel the necessity for this.

@5:22

Anyone who is even minimally observant of pop culture could give you a list as long as this thread with artists from MANY genre's who are struggling far worse for minimal to moderate success than Adam Lambert. A rapper Eve was mentioned earlier in this Thread, I don't know if it is the same one but I saw Eve, the rapper and actress, on Wendy Williams by chance about a 1/2 year ago. She had good success in and even outside of her genre not so very long ago. Her successful tv show ran its course and ended, she had label issues and various career problems, and she is now struggling greatly to get her name out there, her new music purchased, etc ... I'd guess she would be frickin ecstatic to have the sort of gigs Adam Lambert has had in the past few years! I am not really sharing and taking my own time to post this because I think I am going to get anything through to you... I am doing it more so others who are interested might see Adam's career struggles in a more optimistic light. He is not a household name, hardly, but he is far more well off than many good, wonderful artists and seemingly lambert can make a career in the entertainment industry and pay his bills this way, which is a whole lot more than many very talented artists can ever do. I bet he's not sitting at a computer on a blog right now looking for validation like you and I, eh?

If Adam finds the love of his life in Aspen, the relationship likely will not last. I'm afraid Adam has a reputation of playing the field and enjoys the lifestyle of open relationships. This may be a reason why he cannot stay in a relationship and work at it for more than a few years. Sad! It appears to be all sex and party for Adam.

@5:43

Sad... nah, sounds pretty damn fun to me

Anonymous said...

Too bad good news about Adam on out tvs turned into a trollfest.

Anonymous said...

Time for all the sane fans to leave this post so the trolls can stew in their own waste.

Anonymous said...

@5:16. Indeed he is. And all on the dollar of his pathetic little enabling yes fans.

Anonymous said...

Why are some of you so heart set on Adam finding "the love of his life"? Seems to me you are way too invested. Or, perhaps you are reflecting? He's still young and has many years ahead of him to settle down. If the boy is having fun then so be it. We should all be so lucky.

Anonymous said...

6::12 please learn a new word ,you are wearing out the word enabling.

Anonymous said...

6:20 indeed she is .

Anonymous said...

@6:20: Are you sure it's a she? Considering this is a Adam site, it could be a he...or a he she;)

Anybody want to make an on the spur meet up in Aspen and hang out in the bar?

Anonymous said...

125 posts and half of them are silly idiotic childish bickering. Who needs Real Housewives of Wherever when you have this!

Adam doing guest judge in ru paul is good advantage to evolve his last image from freak gay to class act gay. This new image is important to attract all gays who previously freak to him to now respect him.Hopefully more gays will accept him and look at him as a role model. This is just my opinion.I think for A3,he needs to have gays( mostly young people) support equally as straight.

I am a long time Glambert and have frequently posted on threads, but this thread tonight has made me sick and disgusted! I am going to take a long break from all this crappy rhetoric.

Anonymous said...

Crappy rhetoric is a staple here so you may as well leave for good.

Anonymous said...

Just want Adam to be known to the world. He has it all - the voice, looks, talent and personality. If he wants to be a huge star, Ru Paul is not the way to go. And getting rid of the person in his band that caused upheaval since AMAs in '09 would be another step in the right direction. I am glad no more makeup. He is his own man so advice that I know will make him more popular, well known, richer and successful will be ignored. But maybe he is happy with his career as is and that is okay too. He is doing well; just feel taking a few more steps would allow him to do better.

5:43pm ... boy, you've been on a roll today.

@7:49pm I think you want him on Duck Dynasty instead!?

Anonymous said...

Pathetic trolls, nothing you say means anything!

BRB. Going to make some popcorn.

You may not always like the color or style of his hair, the clothes he wears, the friends he hangs out with, but Adam Lambert lives life exactly the way he wants to and seems to be enjoying every day of it. Maybe he didn't achieve a greater degree of success that we, as his loyal fans, wanted for him, but he has done quite well in the music industry where he is often called the greatest vocal talent performing today by any number of critics and others in the entertainment field. He seems to be happy, is involved in any number of projects and events and may very well be working on his third album. I hope that 2014 is the best year yet for him both professionally and personally. It's the same that I wish for my family and friends although I add good health for them also.

Time to move on and give it a rest in here.

Anonymous said...

That was suggested 2 1/2 hours ago yet people keep talking to trolls.

Anonymous said...

Get real! Adam is still wearing makeup.

Anonymous said...

The comments on this thread are HORRIBLE. There's the same person or persons defending Adam in a very nasty manner against someone or some people who have the freedom to express their opinion, even if it doesn't agree with anyone else's opinion.

Anonymous said...

Bless you sweety but you are wasting your breath.

Anonymous said...

Glamberts are a nasty lot. Poor Adam. What is it about you that attracts such loonies.

Anonymous said...

I thought Ru Paul's drag race is mainstream entertainment. Besides, Aspen has an elitist image. :)

Didn't read any of the posts here after the first 3 and off I go!
