Loved Adam/Elliott in this episode of Glee. Can't wait to see next week's show.

I love watching Adam act as well as sing! He is so natural and his expressions are perfect! Next week is going to be great. But don't shoot me ,but I love the clean face and his more fluffy hair.. He looks so young and beautiful. I know everyone has beards now and he looks sexy still. Just think his clean face suits his role in glee better.

I agree that I like Adam without the facial hair and I like the cut and style of his hair in this episode of Glee. Sometimes that facial hair makes him look older. He fits right in with the cast of Glee. Can't wait to see next week's episode. I think Adam has 4 songs in that one. He is so talented, so personable and it comes across with this character of Elliott. I would like it better if the NYC storylines become the last season of Glee's focus and of course, have Adam/Elliott in them.

Adam and Chris were fabulous on Glee singing that wonderful duet! The entire cast was great! But for me, the show was so good because it showcased Adam to the max! Last night was the best show! Adam's singing, acting, and charisma was so on-point. He took Glee to the next level! Adam makes you want to be around him, be his best friend, stop over his apartment and just talk. No wonder Adam has so many friends in real life and is always being invited somewhere! He's just that sweet, smart, charming and this shows up on the screen! I hope Adam has many more gigs on Glee, but if not, he belongs on tv, film, and performing non-stop. Adam has so much talent, that voice is to die for, and he is such a great actor! He has so much more to give! Can't wait to see and hear Adam next week on Glee with the rest of the great cast! I'm so grateful Adam is having this opportunity on Glee! nancdruuu2

I too like his look here the best, but Adam is gonna have his hair the way he wants it, and he is gonna wear that nose ring..my heart is breaking right now cause the ratings crashed for this episode..(why did they have to schedule it opposite the voice???) I just hope that this does not portend any negative situations going forward for our rock god..who really proved himself a rock god on last night's show...

so looking foward to next week show!!

He did a excellent job. A actor indeed. I love all of it, and will be watching again.

Even The Voice is suffering in the ratings, from what I hear. But I guess it did beat out Glee. Glee has been around a while, longer that The Voice. And NCIS is strong, too, and Glee is on opposite that as well. Still in all, millions of people did tune in to Glee last night and saw Adam. The show's ratings would not be great no matter who was on. I think the show is giving Adam visibility and is bringing him to the attention of other TV execs. He is very well-liked wherever he goes. Sure, we all wish his Glee episodes would show a leap in the ratings, but we have to take what we can get. I just wish they'd give him some more episodes through the end of the season. He was magnificent.

Adam was ok in a small role playing himself but the idea that he is going to be getting any acting offers based on this performance is a bit ridiculous.

Anonymous said...

I should ignore, but nobody saying he is going to get cast opposite DeNiro in the next Martin Scorsese movie, we a smart lot typically, we Adam Lambert fans... but to suggest that this small role, well executed, can not lead to another role, small or otherwise, qualifies as ridiculous. Maybe you ought to go check out how any number of our current A list actors got started. (and they don't have half the it factor that Adam Lambert does all around).

Adam did well on Glee. Ratings for this show are going to be an uphill climb at this point in the game no matter who appears, no worries there. A win/win for Mr. Lambert.

9:42 here, sorry for typos and such, need to get to work :).

Anonymous said...

Maybe Adam needs a role acting on NCIS , the highest rated show on TV to make some of you happy. And BTW, Adam is acting the part of Elliott, he is not being himself.

Anonymous said...

Elliot is clearly written as adam. They are making it easy by just giving him a few lines and that's smart on Ryan Murphy's part.

And I can't think of any A list actors who got their start playing themselves in a tv show in their mid thirties. Sorry, just being realistic here. Most idols have had tv cameos like this.

Anonymous said...

10:24, that is ridiculous. Adam is not playing himself, he is playing a role.

@ 10:16 am....JAK here....Oh please, not NCIS! I find Adam's body parts quite interesting, but I really don't want to see him on a morgue slab in actual 'parts'.......How about as a new neighbor in The Big Bang Theory apartment building ? He seems to have a light touch with comedy and would certainly dash the 'scoring' hopes of the amusing wannabe studs on that show.

It's a very highly rated comedy series and if he played a singer....a hopeful show biz character like Penny, we could hear some songs. Okay, just wishful thinking on my part I know!

Lmao are you confused because his name is Elliott? Even adam said the character is based on him. The starchild persona was his clothes, his performance style. The reference to being into glam rock, coming from theater. He doesn't really have any other personality or emotional content to his role which would be considered acting.

Anonymous said...

10:24my God you never give up do you ,why the sickness to be so negative here? We are have mothers let them worry about our reality. Lol

Anonymous said...

10:50 maybe the role is based on him but I can see acting going on ,even being a character based on yourself requires acting.

Anonymous said...

10:50, please provide a link where Adam says the character is based on him.

You seem to be the one confused by similarities and think it means Adam = Elliott. It does not.

Anonymous said...

Adam is Elliot, and Elliot is Adam. No great acting skills shown here. Adam is quiet spoken, just like Elliot. I think he got the part for many reasons, first he has a great voice, he also has many fans already, and the producer already knew him, and the show was falling down badly on ratings. He was at the right place at the right time. His acting is not that great, but he has a talent for expressions on his face. Which he has learned through his singing career, which helps make his acting believable. His personality is too soft, to carry a heavier role than the one of Elliot on Glee. He could do other roles that are similar to this one, but don't expect any Oscars, or Emmys.

Anonymous said...

10:44, sorry, BBT isn't rated high enough for these people. How about as some evil minded terrorist they have to chase for several episodes on NCIS? Then people would stop saying Adam is playing himself just because Ellioit is a singer and nice.

Anonymous said...

11:04, I suspect you are trolling because Adam is from the theater and has said he would like to play Judas.

Anonymous said...

A lot of actors have a very successful career basically playing one role, Hugh Grant is one example. And some didn't even start in the business until they were older than 30s.

Anonymous said...

@ 11:12
Any criticism of Adam is considered a troll. What has anything that has been said , has anything to do with Adam wanting to play Judas. Which planet are you from?
The theatre has been a good learning tool for Adam. If you want to make a comment , go ahead and make it, but don't try to call people trolls, because they don't agree with every word you say.

Anonymous said...

11:34, not every criticism is a troll but trolls have a certain way of writing. One way is a couple of compliments with ultimately bigger insults. We have had a couple of trolls admit that is what they are doing here.

The Judas part was in reference to the comment saying Adam is too soft to play anything heavier than Elliott. Surely Adam knows his own acting abilities and knows he can play a heavy roll.

Tom Hanks started out in Bosom Buddies. I'm sure other A-listers started out in TV shows. Some of you will think of some, I'm sure. There is no downside to Adam being on Glee. It's part of his resume now, and it is good exposure, huge ratings or not. He just may be lucky enough to catch the eye of some other TV person who is willing to use him. Who knows? I don't think any fan would wish that he was NOT on Glee. Any opportunity can pay off. You never know. I'm just glad he did it. I'm not saying he's going to be the next Emmy or Oscar winner. Though Lord knows I've seen some Oscar winners and my reaction has been "HUH?" I give Adam credit for giving it his all and I hope it does lead to something more.

I think we have every reason to CELEBRATE all the exposure Adam has gotten the past two weeks, and from my point of view he certainly nailed it every time! Plus, hasn't it been great to see our man on TV again??!! Keeping a critical eye is one thing but putting a big damper on Adam's appearances and opportunities is another. Let's face it, every time Adam gets to show his talent, charisma, and gorgeous looks to a wide audience outside of his fandom there's an opportunity for more and bigger things to come!!!

Just because adam would love to play judas doesn't mean he would ever in a million years get cast in a movie as judas. Never gonna happen.

Anonymous said...

12:11, you are constantly negative and missing the point or twisting the story. Managing real life must be difficult for you.

Anonymous said...

Once I knew that Glee would be opposite The Voice and NCIS, I realized that the ratings would just not be there even with Adam in this episode. It was a great opportunity for a wider audience to see Adam perform in a different capacity as Elliott. And he did an amazing job in that duet number with Kurt. This may or may not lead to other tv roles or even a movie role, but Adam is taking advantage of this project on Glee and he was great. I still want to hear new music from him and that will come. But to see him on Glee made my evening and I am looking forward to next week's episode.

Anonymous said...

12:38, "missing the point or twisting the story" is exactly right pertaining to 12:11.

Anonymous said...

12:11, And you know this for sure how?

Glee was on hiatus for weeks and changed its time slot from Thursday night to Tuesday night facing against The Voice and NCIS. But still managed to be No. 3 watched show for the night out of zillions of shows on hundred different channels. Glee is a popular showed watched in so many different countries. That's not a failing show. It's all good in my books.

I'm with you girl , so happy for all that is going on with our boy . I love Adam , any chance I have to see him simply makes me happy . Adam has so much natural talent, in my book he's fantastic at everything he does. All the exposure he's getting can't be anything but good for him, and for all of us who love and are inspired by this amazing man.... rose petal

I hope he is invited and home for Sir EJ Oscar viewing party.

Entertainment industry, TVs, Radios, Movies, etc. are facing low ratings across the board. Is Internet and live streaming to be blamed? Maybe! I'm sure there are other factors involved with these low ratings. One thing is clear that Glee was the third most watched show last night and millions of viewers watched Adam last night and millions of others will watch him around the globe. Something to celebrate about that even one year concert tour going from one city to another or one country to another can't do.

JAK @2:25pm lesson learned from watching last night's Glee, Frenemies.

Good acting Adam!
I love seeing you on my tv, but i need new music! What is going on?

Comparing a benign comment about Adams acting role to gay bashing is incredibly ignorant. I don't even know how to address such stupidity. Sad that adam is saddled with fans who woud make such a comparison.

Just celebrate Adam!!!:)

Just celebrate his success!!:)

Just celebrate his choices!!:)

Just celebrate the GLAMBERTS!!:)

2:51, I like your reasoning. Just because Glee was not the #1 show last night in the ratings doesn't mean that millions of people were not watching the show. They were. And some of them discovered Adam for the first time and some got to know him a little better. And some mey buy his new music because they saw him on Glee and liked him. All to the good.

If Adam was playing himself; his name would be Adam on the show, and it would be a reality show; that is something he said he was not interested in.

They have celebrities on glee as themselves, are not a part of Glee family. Adam is not doing a cameo; Adam has what actually appears to be pretty much part of the regular staff if you did not follow Adam as we do. I was actually surprised and delighted at this meaty role he was given by the producers. Apparently everyone is pleased with him and his time that seems to be continuing on Glee and the expansion of his role seems to speak volumes. If Adam was just doing a cameo; he would not have an apartment builded for his character Elliot/Starchild.

Also, many actors started on the Soaps. The young man that played the role of Finn was Adam's age. Adam is a young man with a whole lot of talent!

Think of it this way; they probably would have had a whole lot less viewers with out Adam being on last night. I for one would have been missing.

Those that are trying to downplay Adam's success don't sound very much like supportive fan!

Adam Lambert's super talent strikes again; and knocked me for a loop! Wow, can this man be anymore talented, charming and just beautiful inside and out. Feel like I have hit the talent jackpot with our man who used the word "Glamheart" last night. Warmed my Glamheart!!

Anonymous said...

@3:04 PM

He's multi-tasking. We want it all; and we want it now! but, it seems we are just going to have to be patient and enjoy what ever comes our way. Adam is a hard working man. I am sure he is doing the best he can. I will be here enjoying all the great things he is offering now.

As far as his next album is concerned, he said that he is working on it. I personally want him to take all the time he needs; as I am pretty sure he will. He is probably more anxious then we are to have it finished.

I am happy and pleased with all that he doing; am so very proud of him. We have so much to enjoy; while many things are probably heading our way!

5:40 pm, looks like it is ahead of the other songs to me.

Adam got a role on PLL and now he is on Glee. Who knows what other acts will follow after this!? Adam is smart, articulate, handsome, and has a one in a billion voice. He is sociable and knows how to network with others. He is caring, kind, and humble human being. He has great resume of doing so many different performances since age of 9 under his belt. I'm sure his portfolio is more than hundreds of pages. Since JHud got an Oscar by kind of playing herself, I'm sure Adam will get an award for his acting one day too. I'm thrilled and honored to be his fan.

Anonymous said...

Didn't Adam say something somewhere about playing someone like himself on Glee?

I'd love to see him playing a much meatier, dramatic role. He could do it so well.

Am really enjoying reading all the comments. You peeps are an articulate bunch! Loved last night's episode...Adam & Chris acting together are awesome. That first part gets me laughing each time I watch it!

Many big stars started low on the rungs of the ladder of success. It always amused me that John Wayne began as Singin Sandy Saunders in the western Riders of Destiny! They had planned a series of singing cowboy movies for him.....thankfully that didn't work out!

He just didn't fit the WGWG role! But he was pretty! :-)
