The plot built around Elliot is getting more convoluted. Elliot with Rachael will be another nerve-racking episode. A possibility Elliot might have to come out the closet; because Rachael sees Elliot as a go-to person to lean on after being thrown out of the band...and subsequently develops a crush on him...so sparks my crystalball. Now, Elliot stands at the crossroads...to be or not to be. lol! On the other hand I read that Kurt may have a second love interest. I see crystalball's lights are out. lol!
The Elliot character might spring a surprise...he's straight and reciprocates Rachael's crush on him. Then that will be quite challenging for Adam in terms of acting but not new as he had portrayed Fiyero once on stage. But good for Lea, it might help her heal her broken heart, can be therapeutic.
I've been hoping for a duet with Lea. She had said a few years ago that singing with Adam would be a big wish of hers and I would love to see several of them together. 4 songs next week with Adam will be fantastic. I'm also excited about Rachel and Elliot getting closer. I don't know how many more episodes with Adam will be left, as the following one after next week doesn't seem to include him, but other guests and the Lima crowd. I wish the NY part of Glee would go on and Adam could return as his time permits. I love seeing him on this show and he's blown away the cast members with his voice. Adam seems to always make a great impression on those that work with him. I'm not surprised that he charms them too. I would love to see Adam as Lea's love interest just so Adam can be seen as capable of straight parts as well as gay ones. There shouldn't be limitations on parts whether straight or gay. Maybe some day the labels will disappear and people will just be people.
Adam is on the episode called "Trio" next week and then they have three episodes without Adam that include graduation. Then Adam is back for another episode. That is as far as the spoilers and filming have gotten. Hopefully Adam will have time to be in a few more episodes after that.

I was blown away last night and couldn't stop smiling and flailing. Next week he's in four songs!!! Whoooeeee! I can't imagine writing Elliot out of the plotline. He has so many possibilities. Kurt, Rachel, gay, straight. So many stories left to tell. Counting the days.
Agree DRG. All fangirling and card carrying Glambert aspects aside ;)... I say more as a long time Glee watcher - there really are a lot of compelling scenarios that could involve the continued inclusion of Elliot!
I'm puzzled as to why the Starchild personna's name is still used. Wasn't that a one time thing, used only for Elliott's introduction in over the top costume?
He's been Elliott ever since. I doubt they will feature him as Starchild again.
@Lam-my, yeah still hoping that Elliot is some love rebound for Rachel... Jonathan Groff who is gay, once played Rachel's love interest and they had a couple of smooches but maybe it was easier for Jonathan because in real life he is Lea's best friend... (Lea plays Rachel). Axel,
@7:43 The April episode Adam's in is shown with Adam and Chris wearing leather and makeup so maybe he will be more Starchild in that episode. But whatever he is doing a fantastic job on the show,He breathes life into whatever he does.
9:04, here are the songs: Barracuda: Rachel and Elliott Gloria: Rachel, Santana and Elliott The Happening: Dani, Kurt and Elliott Hold On: Artie, Tina, Blaine, Sam and Pamela Landsbury
I'm puzzled too. I can't see how Pamela Lansbury can be taken seriously, when Elliot is merely a guest, and Rachel and Santana are on the outs and off to Funny Girl. Where is the band? Will Demi be back long enough to make the band look plausible? Who exactly is a part of this band Kurt is so protective of?
12:34, it's a TV show not reality. Adam is a guest star but Elliott isn't. Demi is busy with touring but her character isn't. These things work out in TV land.
Axel Thanks for the background update. Ryan Murphy created this Elliot character which he should capitalise on to diversify Glee story-lines; so many viable directions. Adam is a very versatile actor/singer. I've a feeling the NY episodes will see Adam in the forefront more, as he has been included in the regular Glee cast. Yea, Barracuda...Adam and Lea will slay it to the core...another one!
The term matinee idol is a nod to his looks! 5:29 here. I would assume (and it would only be an ASSUMPTION on my part) that he would not get the sort of ROLES that the term "matinee idol" conjures up... I would assume he will be offered, in due time, smaller more modern roles, in keeping with his particular talents, ever developing. Over time, who knows, maybe he will be offered a role that's in sync with the term matinee idol... but for now, his looks are certainly a nod to those matinee idols of cinema past, no denying it. Over and above good genetics and good fortune in the looks department, Adam's charisma on STAGE is undeniable, and his charisma on SCREEN and screen friendly presentation is growing and developing every day to my eye. I do not think he will have a Jennifer Hudson like experience in regard to the screen, but I do think he will have a presence on various screen sizes over time! :) Cheers to all the believers... to all the naysayers, have at it, knock yourselves out, probably just develops more resolve in Mr. Lambert.
6:17 (& 5:29) here. Although, Jared Leto probably thought he would never have that sort of Jennifer Hudson experience on screen, in cinema, and looked what happened there! So I suppose never say never is the best position to adopt, especially considering the ample talents of Adam Lambert! This thread is probably dead, but felt compelled to add that :).
6:21. Yeah, Jared Leto is about to win the Oscar, singer and actor, like Adam, he can get there if he want, Jared stopped to act for about 5 years to stay with his band, and with one movie he can win the Oscar. So Adam can act when he's not busy.

Looking forward to next week and more songs from Adam. He will be in a total of four songs! One duet with Lea, two trios and an ensemble song.

That little squeal at the end is Elliot, right??

9:04, here are the songs:
Barracuda: Rachel and Elliott
Gloria: Rachel, Santana and Elliott
The Happening: Dani, Kurt and Elliott
Hold On: Artie, Tina, Blaine, Sam and Pamela Landsbury
Adam in several songs and Melvin! Yay!

We probably aren't going to see Kurt or Starchild play guitars either.
I love this song "Don't You Forget About Me". I hope Adam sings the hell out of it! I can't wait for this next episode.
1:57, Adam isn't singing on that song.
@10:10 thanks. Can't wait for next week.
