They both should have won,but it really didn't matter and I'm sure they're both happy with their careers. AI helped them launch their successful careers.

AI was a good platform. But Simon and Randy and Paula as well as Kara thought Adam should have won. He still won of course with an amazing career and recognition.

Nice mention in the article that Adam and Chris were Randy's first choice for the workshop.

When Adam was on Idol during season 8, I couldn't wait for each week to hear what he would be singing and to see what his new look/style would be. He is the only contestant I ever voted for also. No, he didn't win, but Adam has gone on to have a successful career and is an international star. All he needed was a platform to open the door for him in the unpredictable and everchanging world of music. Can't wait to see both him and Chris as they work with Randy and the contestants next week. Randy made a smart choice in selecting these two.

I think many of us believed that Adam could win; I know that I did. Adam also was the only person I ever voted for on the show. He set the bar so high as far as talent and stage presence that I can't help but compare all contestants since then with him. It seems as if they have a younger group of singers this season, so we'll see what happens. I like the three judges and it will be interesting once the shows are live as to what their final comments will be then. Idol seems to me to be the only singing competition show that still produces winners(and other finalists) who have a successful music career. I hated the XFactor and even though the format of The Voice is enjoyable to watch, you really don't hear much about the winners of that show. I agree that Randy made a smart choice in selecting these two.
