Two songs got mushed up together. Need to be separated and try again.

Love Heart version, love this version! I finally was able to understand some of the words on Adam and Lea's. God, I love his voice and they are great together.

I am truly done in; this is fabulous and so sexy; our rock God has hit the same. The accolades have been coming in all over the place with these two. Many are saying that Leah finally got her wish to sing with Adam. Love this!

Barracuda is the best! Adam's voice is unbelievable and he and Lea sound so good together! Great duo! Can't wait to see them together! Adam just gets better and better!!!!!!

I liked the song, although the guitar riff shows the age of this song.

That was one sexy voice Adam! He's incredible! He can do anything with his vocals....Thud.

Sorry, Lea love your voice too...great sound together but Adam waaaayyyyy out sung Lea IMO.

I absolutely loved this version and soon I'll be able to see it on a Glee!!!!

AWESOME ADAM. Perfect song for him.
love it.

@1:45 Make sure to hit Stop on the first video (which inexplicably plays a second song). Then play Barracuda.

Amazing vocals, this song is perfect for Adam!

Adam should record this with Allison Iraheta! She did an excellent job with this song LIVE on Conan O'Brian and she was soooo young back then...

Lea has a very strong clear voice, just not a rock voice...but she SAAANG!

Adam of course in a league of his own...and UNF that voice!!!

Magnificent, who could ever do this better, of a oldie but goodie

Don't know what's so great about this Barracuda?
But anyway love anything Adam sing just to hear his voice.

Darn I just wanted to hear Adam soar that one all by himself. He owned this song...alone.
His voice is magic and totally off the planet! Have missed Adam sooo much.

My heart just pounds when I listen to Adams vocals. Noone can
stand close to the Master. Noone.

I keep listening to Barracuda over and over coz I just can't get over Adam's incredible vocals on this. Lea and Adam are great duet partners for sure. Adam's got the perfect rock voice, power, range, some grit when needed, total control even on the highest notes. He's just amazing and the best there is IMO.

Love this song and Adam's voice quality on it but I think the female voice, though beautiful indeed, is too "sweet and clear" for such a tough, driving song. Needs a voice like Allison Iraheta (remember her from Amer Idol?)...my three cents and who cares :)

I don't like this song at all - it's my least fave of all the "Trio" songs - but Adam and Lea did a good job of it. I'd love to hear Adam sing a duet with Santana. Her solo performance on Glee last week was fantastic.

Wanna hear Adam go 'solo, solo'!

Before Adam's last episode of Glee, I would love for him to be able to sing a solo power ballad. Just him on the screen. A song that starts quiet and tender and then crescendos into that incredibly powerful, full, rich tenor voice. I know this is not in the plans for him on the show, but it sure would great way to end his Glee stint. Can't imagine how they will continue the Pamela Lansbury storyline without Elliot at all. Maybe PL will disband and the story will go in another direction. Hope Elliot does appear now and again, though.

Forgot to mention, I love the Barracuda duet! It's a really powerful song and you can really hear Adam's voice belting it.

People have said here many times that Glee watchers, Gleeks etc are mostly young people. So how come all these songs are most probably songs they've never heard or been fans of. All songs >30 years old. This is an honest question, don't watch Glee, except here for all Adam parts. Who decides the songs? Why these songs? Thank you in advance for possible answers.

JAK here......5:24 PM......I imagine these songs were chosen because they were all hits, one Grammy nominated as Best Song of the year, one multi platinum
seller. I don't watch Glee (except when Adam is on) but I would guess they only cover hits, I suppose, to have been a hit, they each had a special 'shine' about them that stands up over the decades.

I know I could never get Laura Branigan's version of Gloria out of my head for almost the entire year it was on Billboard's top hit list! I still know all the lyrics 30 years later! :-)

@JAK You're probably right about them covering hits....except I had never heard IBIATCL before Adam & Chris did it on Glee. Maybe I need to get out more, but just curious if the rest of you had heard the song before.

I love this! What a GREAT duet.

Same here, i don't know that song at al and I do think it is not a good song.

@7:57 PM....JAK here....yes, I heard the song when The Darkness version first came out. I was not a particular fan of the lead Justin Hawkins, nor of the song IBIATCL.

He was lauded for his over the top high notes......but I remember a British reviewer saying "he sings like someone just punched him in his tender bits!" :-))))))

JAK again. I've always been amused by British euphemisms....

The late comedic actor Dudley Moore said on a talk show that his mother was distressed at a nude scene he had done in a film.....because he showed all "his bits and pieces."

This is @5:24
Thank you, JAK for answering. At the risk of getting 'beaten up' here, I take up the age thing... You, JAK, obviousily are a music lover and have a lot of knowledge music throughout the years (I always remember we share the same wish of Adam singing Sweet Child of Mine by GNR!), but so many don't...If the point is that Glee is mostly watched by young people and the wish is Adam to get new, younger fans... why choose hits from en era when they weren't even born yet?!? These songs will only be appreciated by "mature folks" (can say this without getting called "age-ist", believe me, I'm mature enough...he he). And on the other hand why complain about songs many "mature" people have not heard or dislike, like IBIATCL - even that's too old for the younger crowds. So my point still is, to get younger fans for Adam (and also Gleeks stick with Glee), why choose these "ancient" hits?! Just don't get it, sorry... This does not mean I don't appreciate these songs and Adam & Co's voices, singing harmonies etc. But like I said, I don't watch Glee, but I LOVE ADAM'S VOICE where, when and however I can hear it, not to mention HIS PRESENCE, what ever 'the vehicle'... I rest my case, I mean EYES! :-):-):-)

Have a happy day!

Sorry for the long post, if hard to read, scroll, writing from my crappy phone. And this thread is probably dead anyway... :)

@ 5:20...JAK here....I don't know if they skip around between oldies mostly, but of course they covered Roar and Marry the Night which are current....one reason might be that a lot of people watch with their teens. My brother in law and his wife watch with their daughters, they use the racier storylines as an opportunity
for some frank talk with their kids. Plus their kids think it's hilarious when their Mom and Dad get up and dance and play air guitar to the songs they know well.

As I understand family groups sometimes watch Idol together too. Bonding maybe?
