Why isn't this on the radio??

What countries is this commercial shown in?

Anonymous said...

9:30, just off the top of my head, Holland and Greece. There are other countries as well. Hoping its a global ad.

@9:16 I know it should be s single. I don't understand how Hey Brother is getting radio play. Every time I hear that song it makes me mad.

It's all over Europe, South America and Asia

Nice to see some $$$$ trickling into Adams coffers. I always hoped he would get a commercial. This song is perfect to advertise tea, it just fits into the theme.

This is great I love Adam's voice in this. Ahhh Lipton Ice Tea my new fave summer drink. Lol

Drinking ice tea will be a whole new experience for me!

"Show me I'm the one, tell me I'm the one that you need" This part so gets the message across for the ad. Wanna make a bet these are Adam's words? If they are, he's either prescient or calculating. Or just a Word Wizard. Even though his name is not featured, at least he shares credit for the lyrics, and if I'm guessing correctly, will get compensated both for the vocals and the co-writing. BTW, I see this as vindication for the Chipmunk Remix (insulting to my ears). If this ad helps boost the Adam version LMD to a single status which by summer would be a great move if so, Adam will have reaped the karmic justice he deserved.

Love that the ad plays a good chunk of the song, but just five seconds. You can really hear Adam's voice. Thrilled that it's being heard in so many countries. Adam should be many some $$$ from it, I hope. Maybe LMD could still wind up being a single.

Thinking VERY positive thoughts that we'll be hearing LMD as Avicii's next single release...

VERRRRY ! Lots of big hints out there...

This song is so Adam! It should be played on the radio every day! IMO Lay Me Down is just as good as Happy! It makes you feel good plus it has Adam's voice! What more could anyone want!......nancdruuu2

My utter adoration for Adam Lambert totally aside, I always thought LMD was an incredibly hot song, very up and coming sonically in the most retro of ways, just maybe in need of a "radio edit" for release as a single (which is done easily enough). I know some peeps, who seemed like they knew what they were talking about, weren't big fans of the production value, but I thought it killed well enough despite that possible truth. It's like shooting Studio 54 right into your veins. I personally don't think it will be a single... but I would love to be proven wrong!

Adam 'a latest tweet:

@adamlambert: Have we made it to radio down under??? Woohoo "@timverrall: The new AVICII + Adam Lambert is ridiculously good”

2:19pm, yes! wouldn't it be a wonderful single. I think it still may happen - with a tiny bit of editing of the length for radio play. Such a great song. And Adam's voice, especially when he cries out "Come On"!

Next time I see Lipton in supermarket, I'll have a totally different outlook for this brand. Might pick up a pack of Lipton Ice Tea.

It's an ice tea commercial !! No big deal !
This is emmbaressing .. Lamo

Yup, will buy Lipton icetea for sure.

@3:25PM It it a big deal! And I think Bryan and Rodger never feel embarrassed when they hear Queen's song on TV commercials.

I'm envisioning a pool, people chatting, swimming and like I do, frequently reaching up on the deck to their glass and taking a refreshing swig of ice tea...ahhhhh....Under an umbrella poolside sits a quiet young man wearing stunning sunglasses watching the fun (and being watched), he too, has a tall frosty glass of Lipton, with a twist of lemon. As the music reaches "tell me I'm the one that you need", he lowers his shades and levels a familiar sideways power packed glance at the camera.

Lipton, give us a USA commercial and I'll buy twice as much as I do now......JAK

Heyyyyy JAK, I can tell you're feeling a little better! :)

And I agree wholeheartedly with those saying this IS a big deal! Huge companies that spend millions on their commercials have their choice of music. Lipton Picked LAY ME DOWN!!

And is SO works!

Let's all buy Lipton Ice Tea next time we go to supermarket. Take a picture of it and tweet it to Lipton, Adam, Nile, and Avicii. How about it?

@Glitzylady I like how you think!

I'll buy Lipton tea when they start playing this commercial in the USA. Until then, I'll stick with generic tea.

I love that the LMD with Adam's voice and Nile's guitar are in the foreground, not just a faint background music. It really enhances the fun, sunny spirit of the ad. This is a huge coup in advertising for Adam; more so LMD gets the single nod. Please Universe, God, make it so...We need it for our summer song!!!

Yep, Lay Me Down on Australian radio. :)

I used to love Lipton's Ice Tea when they sold it in a can and then they changed the recipe and put it into a plastic bottle - not keen on it at all but I love that LMD is used for this Lipton Tea commercial.
