Not really that interested in watching Idol this season except when they showed Adam as a mentor. The contestants lack stage presence and any degree of excitement for me as a viewer to want to watch them perform each week. With Adam during season 8 I couldn't wait to see him, what he would wear and of course, what he would sing. It's the only time I ever voted for anyone also. Maybe it's because a number of them are so young and really don't know what kind of artist they want to be. I doubt Adam will be back to perform unless it is with one of the contestants as he did with Angie Miller. He may be too busy rehearsing with Queen for the summer concerts. With the number of singing/talent shows now on tv with more to come, it is just too much already trying to find that one special performer who will set the music scene on fire. The audiences are turning away from them and watching mostly original dramatic programs esp on cable.
