That's amazing considering, none of the stores in my vicinity have any in stock.

7:17, this list is from iTunes.

Physical CDs are almost becoming obsolete, at least in the initial phases of a new set of songs. Artists launch a single (like Pharrell did with 'Happy', Perry with 'Roar', etc. and if it becomes a best seller, then they do a full CD launch. At least, that's my humble understanding of today's music business when it comes to the release of new music.

291? On pop? I hope I don't get a google alert about this.

9:27, you've got that backwards. The CD is being released regardless of how those first singles do. They release a single before the CD to build interest and demand in the coming CD.

@7:17
Stores near me are out of it too. But these days I think most people buy on line anyway. I know I do. I am a good customer of Amazon.

Well actually sometimes not. I mean When it's someone like katy perry of course. But they may test the waters for a new or lesser artist before committing to an album launch. Like bonnie mckees single didnt go anywhere and then she announced she was only releasing an EP instead of the previously promised album. And naya rivera single didnt do well and word is her label dropped her instead of releasing the album. Jordan sparks released a single last summer but her album never got released by RCA.

@10:59 AM That is really sad to hear. There are probably even many more wonderful singers that is happening to.

I only buy cds. When they are no longer available, I will just let people tell me what's popular on YouTube and watch a couple times.

I guess all the Gleeks who have discovered Adam on Glee, are now out buying his albums. Good news!

It's great to read that Adam's album is still selling. I agree that people who saw Adam on Glee realize what a great singer he is and want to hear more. And after appearing with Queen on their summer concert series, there will be even more people who will be buying Adam's albums who perhaps were not interested in him before.

How about FYE? It's equally as good, from my point of view (even though the album cover wasn't quite as popular lol.)

Let's hope Adam gets a good single released that SELLS. Then, his (hopefully) larger fanbase will buy it as well as his new album. It's a tough business out there, even for every talented singers. Labels don't want to take any risks. I'll be fine with however Adam winds up promoting and releasing his new music. The important thing is that it getsto see the light of day.

10:59 am, they release singles ahead of full album release all the time now. But good job finding a couple of examples of where that didn't happen instead of the 100 examples where it did happen. You are our little fact twister so I don't believe you anyhow.

Gleek here. Naya and her album haven't been dropped. Still slated to come out in 2014.

@5:27AM, Nice to see you here!Naya has a fantastic voice and I'm glad to hear her album will be released. She and Lea have poerful voices and Chris is also one of my faves. So much talent on Glee and loved seeing Adam a part of it.

Glad that Trespassing is still being discovered. I think it was a brilliant album and so did Rolling Stone. This will be a big year for Adam, finally getting the exposure and appreciation that has been missing in the US.
