I love the crown too....especially when Brian put it back on Adam's head.....

However, in the press they're killing him. The loved the concert up to this point.......

It seems like EVERYONE hates the idea of Adam wearing the crown......

That's what I thought when I saw pics of the crown ... people probably aren't going to like it. Personally, I think it's great, but I'm guessing that they're going to get so much blow back that they might stop doing it. We'll see ....

What press is killing him; have not seen anything; except great comments from Adam and Queen fans on twitter and they are bragging about the whole concert; and thought it was great when Adam took off the crown and Brian put it back on him; it was probably their idea.

Everyone just loved the concert. There will always be naysayers; and some Queen fans who did not want Adam to appear with them anyway; some don't even feel that Queen should continue to perform.

Adam and Queen won't let that bother them. So proud of Adam; he is really getting rave reviews, and so is Queen. Many are saying the whole show was out of this world; the best they have ever seen!

I always understood Brian and Roger loved Adam, but now I KNOW Brian and Roger love Adam. ^_^ YOW!

Someone on twitter just posted, "I think that Adam out "Adamed" himself tonight".

Long time Queen fan since 1974 a concert goer tweeted that he said this is the best Queen Concert he has ever been to.

Have not seen a negative comment yet; pretty sure they are out there, always will be; but so what?
First show from all reviews so far; a huge success! Especially from people that were actually there.

Never discount the twitter and facebook comments; many of them were actually there. The reviews are made by people too; some may not have been there. I think every ones account of an event is just as important as the next.

I love hearing fans accounts, both Queen and Adam's. Many reviewers are fans too! Also all reviewers are not always objective.

I was there the concert was wonderful Adam was amazing I don't know how any one could find anything wrong with it.They all put every thing they had in it.Adams vocals was wonderful.-----blueeyes

I have seen a post of one Queen-fan who also likes Adam and in his opinion the crown was tasteless. He also says that just when Adam was winning some diehard Queen fans over, this might make the opposite. I don't know what to think. I loved there was the stream. Adam sounded fabulous and looked "camp". The band sounded also soooo goood! But I just did not like much the crown, either. Well, matter of taste.

I dont like the crown part too... Lets be honest, people are sentimental, we hold on to memories and hates ANYTHING that rocks it. I think the gesture was harmless and pure fun BUT did not like it. Imho

Everyone has an opinion pro and con and there will be millions of them. For all we know it was a one time thing for opening night. Doubt if it is something they will be doing all the time. Think it was just a one time thing; Adam sure looked gorgeous in that crown. Someone twitted that Brian crowned Adam the King of Queen! Great, great concert!

If those so called Queen fans are that intolerant of the costume that Adam wore, and that is what is was, that probably was given to him by Brian and Roger; then it's their problem not Adam's.

Everybody is not going to like Adam no matter what he does, so be it. Adam has nothing but respect for Freddie and he said it's all Rock and Roll. No one person or group of fans have complete ownership of crowns or anything else when it comes to entertaining.

Adam does not have to walk a round on pins and needles trying to please every person calling themselves a Freddie Fan. Congratulations to our man Adam Lambert; he killed it tonight!!

Maybe Glamberts can be a lil' tolerant of the die hard Queen fans! Imagine queen comes out with another frontman, i bet it that Glamberts will look for ways to disparage the new guy.
Crowning Adam was just fun and harmless BUT if anyone (esp. Queen fans) takes offense..sorry, lets roll and move on.

I may sound bias, but Adams fans are very tolerant and for the most part very mature. They have always been very kind toward Freddy's memory and understanding of his fans.

I think if they did get someone new Adam's fans would be very respectful of Brian and Roger for the wonderful opportunity they have given Adam. The only time Adam fan's does not tolerate well, is when someone is trashing Adam; and rightly so.

I really do think that Adam's fans are some of the nicest most tolerant people around; and it has a lot to do with the respect and tolerance generated by the wonderful Mr. Adam M. Lambert!

Adam Had such gorgeous costumes on tonight. Adam likes to change it up; so every show will probably be a little different. They will see what they feels works and what does not. It's going to be a wild ride. Great first show.

Adam is Adam, and has never tried to be anyone else. Probably done in memory and respect for Freddy Mercury. He said that he is not trying to be anyone but himself.

If Freddie was still here he would have done THIS crowning himself, he would have put the crown on Adam's head.

As long as there's Rock Royalty there will always be a New King or a New Queen. Show Must Go On!!!

Fab concert but a definite no no to the crown.

I think Brian and Adam are reliving their youth through Adam.

Fabulous pictures of Adam in those Fabulous outfits. Animal prints, leather, gold studs, white jeans, boots...all so Adam. He certainly was in his element on that Chicago stage. Any glitches, issues or problems will be worked out whether it is the sound system or even giving Adam the crown. I can't wait for all the other concerts now and the vids we will get from them. Since I can't go to any of the concerts, this is the best way to enjoy Queenbert and Adam in all his glory.

Rock God, Rock Star...Fabulous. This looks like an awesome show, so special for Brian, Roger and Adam. Great to read such marvelous reviews. Adam looked stunning; all his outfits were just amazing and so suited to Adam and the music. I guess we will have to see what happens with the crown situation as the concerts continue. It shoudn't ruin or take away from the rest of the show. Overall, I'd say that Queenbert was a brilliant success with so much more to come.

That's not a king's crown. That's coronet, for prince. He's got guts to wear it. Probably not his idea.
