Wow! I can't believe I'm the first one here to post! Adam has a label! I know he and Katy are on the same label, but I wonder if he means that this is a label she formed herself or if it's a label she signed with. Either way, it's fantastic news!

All I care about is that he is signed and that it means that good promo and backing for A3 will follow!

Did I read it wrong, I thought it said Ferras had signed to a new label, not Adam.

Ferras was signed to the new label katy perry is heading up which is under her big label capitol records. Nothing to do with adam

Oops! I misread it. So sorry. Wishful thinking.

I don't know who Ferras is, but I guess I'm supposed to know. Good news for him, though. He must be ok if her label signed him.

Yay, good for Ferras he is very talented .

I believe helped write Aftermath. He is one of Adam's good friends.

Katy is taking Ferras on tour with her; and is also collaborating with him on his new album and apparently also his mentor; she may have started the label with him in mind. The first artist on her new label. He was with Capitol Records when his first album was released in 2008 as was Katy; read that they met in 2007 when they both were with Capitol Records and have since become good friends. It said that her new label is a joint venture with Capitol Records, it's being launched through Capitol Records. I assume they would have much to say about who is hired and fired.

Also, just because someone is a friend; does not mean that they would be the perfect boss. Especially when you are probably in competition with them eventually, sounds good though in his case.

For all anyone knows; Adam may have been approached. Adam also may already have a label, they are with the same management team; so I am sure Adam is being given good advise regarding his own career.

Adam seems happy for his friend; good for him. Hope this works out well for him. The Record business can be a vicious animal at times.

Good for Katy; she has been in the business a long time; I read she signed with Columbia in 2004 I read that a solo album she worked on was never released with Columbia Records; and they dropped her around 2006. She signed with Capitol in 2007. So every artist has had their ups and downs. She evidently has earned a lot of money for Capitol Records; so good for her!

Aw, so nice to hear Adam celebrating his dad with a Father's day celebration at his new home. How proud and happy his father sounds. What a joy for Adam and his family. So happy for Adam; I bet the and place looked great; and the food sounds like such a treat. Such a loving and supportive family!

Thanks for posting the tweet from Adam's father. Such a loving family. Adam seems so thrilled about his new home. Makes me smile. He deserves all the wonderful things coming his way!

Wow I think you people have never had a take out meal with your family before, you are so super excited adam saw his dad. Lmao

Katy was signed very young. Whole different thing to be dropped when you are just starting out at 20 than in Adams situation.

Nice to see Eber enjoying time with Adam and proud of his new house. I work in a nursing home and let me tell you I would be super excited if some of the residents would get a take out meal from their son or even a yearly phone call. Nothing to laugh out loud about.

Nice to see Ferras getting another chance at the old age of 30., it does happen.

As I posted on a newer thread about this topic - I am so excited and pleased for Ferras. He is a great talent! I actually knew of him BEFORE Adam, as I saw him perform "Hollywood is not America" on GMA, in conjunction with that song's use as the AI "out" song that year. FERRAS is excellent, I was bummed his "Aliens & Rainbows" cd didn't hit ... and I always pimp it when he comes up on this blog, as I truly feel Adam would be delighted! :)

@8:29
THANK YOU for your post - and I totally agree.
Will never understand where do all these uncaring, unpolite, thoughtless posters come from?! Why is being polite and kind so 'uncool' in blogosphere? Also lack of life experience showing... I guess this day and age compassion and empathy developes later in life, if at all...

8:29......When I was in college, waaaay back, my sorority adopted a nursing home. We each matched up with a resident that had no family, so no visitors. My "lady" was a beautiful 80 year old British spinster. She had been a missionary in China and rather than leave her village she stayed thru all of WWII and the Japanese occupation.

I couldn't wait for our visits every Saturday, she was fascinating, her stories of her life were funny and inspiring and heartbreaking. For two years we had an incredible friendship.

Years later, my kindergarten adopted a nursing home and visited once a week.....the kids and residents loved it.

Has kindness gone out of style?
