I have often wondered , what each person on the stage can hear. If Adam is right next to Brian, can't Brian hear him at full force, or is it quieter. I know they have those things in their ears for a reason. I thought one was to hear the band, and one to block out the audience, so they are not thrown off key. When Adam sings right next to Brian, seems like his hair would be blown right back from the force of Adams lungs. Maybe some one can explain to me what I am talking about. I know we have experts on this site, that know a lot more stuff, than I do.
Thank you for my first, and maybe only, feel good spontaneous laugh of the day when you mentioned Adam's lung power might blow Brian's hair straight back from the force! Oh my God that was a good one; the picture came so vivid in my mind from your hilarious statement. Thanks again!!
Honestly hun have no idea how it works. All I know is they sound spectacular. Adam WWTLF gives my goose bumps goose bumps all that I need to know. Sure Adam could explain it but he to busy !! Sue
Adam performing WWTLF has become my favorite song from the Queen collection of music. It just gives me the chills and cuts right to the heart. I saw it the first time at the iheart radio show in Vegas and still watch that video and the way Adam looked at the audience at the end and just walked off the stage. He blew the roof off the place with that performance and he knew it. Gold is one of the colors of the tour. His is a gold medal performance scoring a 10 with every song.
10:18 am......JAK here.....the in ear monitor gives the singer a mix of the music being played....they also block out quite a bit of the audience sound... You have noticed that Adam occasionally adjusts the receiver and transmitter in his back pocket. He also frequently adjusts the seating of his ear mold or takes it's out altogether.
I know what they are, but exactly how they work is beyond me. I suspect it's witchcraft! ^o^
To JAK-I often see Adam readjusting his ear moniters and didn't know much about them. So I googled it, read several articles about their purpose. It did clarify the reasons singers use them and if you want to know more, just check it out on any number of sites. It can be distracting sometimes as he tries to adjust them, but Adam knows exactly what he wants to hear or not hear to get every note right as he performs.
