Now that the Q+AL North America shows are over ('fingers crossed' there will be more!), and there are no more new reviews until the Australasia shows next month, we thought it would be fun to have a catch-up on reviews of the MSG show that you may have missed either from our readers who had posted links in comments or that we've come across since the band's 'now-legendary' NYC appearance:

Yea for all of this to get through the next two weeks. Thanks for everything y'all do here at 24/7.
Ditto apericate all the vids, pics , info etc. posted here. I'm little sad that it seems not too many people talking but might just be me . This tour had been so amazing! I'm hoping for a DVD and a second tour .... rose petal
There continue to be many "views" of the threads but less commentary..
And in case it hasn't been noticed, we have a new member of the "Admin Team": @broddybounce.. To whom I extend my WELCOME!!!!
We'll be making some other "tweaks" to 24/7 soon, including instructions for registration ie log ins, etc..
Stay tuned!!
Good to hear glitzlady. The joy of being able to flail over Adam wth other who feel the same helps me move forward every day. Thanks to all.
glitzylady, I'm glad to hear that their are still many views on the 24/7 threads. I know some long-time visitors have chosen not to register a username to post. But I think this site is still getting many visitors who will still register in the future. I love the improved tone here and the open, non-threatening conversations we can have. My blood pressure has really gone down.
Welcome to the newest admin, broddybounce! Here's to a new, improved 24/7.
Loving all the vids of the tour and the GREAT reviews. I know there are more Queenbert shows to come soon, but I'm already nostalgic about the North American part. Is there any other band that seems to enjoy each other onstage like these guys? The love between them is palpable. And the number of new fans Adam is acquiring is very encouraging.
Here's to the second half of a fantastic year for Adam and all Glamberts. Then, new music, please!!!
DRG
I agree ... Adam is peace love and light .... glad this site is returning to the same .... great day to all .
Imo, people have stopped commenting because they have to sign in. I understand but don't like it. Not because I want to bully or be negative but for privacy reasons. I signed only to express these comments. I will not sign in again. I still check in but less often now that no one is talking. For me the comments were the fun of it all
I agree that I miss the comments too and the signing in is probably the reason. I even miss those comical trolls as well. They were always a hoot. But we are all different and we are entitled to an "opinion". Maybe the mentioned changes will help those feel their privacy is in jeopardy. Welcome to all who contribute here. It's all about peace and love through Adam.
I don't miss any trolls ,it was getting bizarre and abusive on here, it was time to change. I post less comments now but I am slowly coming out of my shell. The internet is going to be eventually a place that if you make a comment you have to own it.
There was nothing funny about the trolls. I'm glad that we are signing in to write comments. Trolls even get deleted in their own congregation. Once we are used to this new sign-in we can write more comments. Just like other fansites. If you find something that hasn't been posted please share the news. Thanks to Admins are doing fabulous job.
About signing in: if done correctly your privacy will not be compromised. All of your private info, including your name can be kept private.
Nearly every internet site and blog requires a sign in, and for good reason.
As I mentioned above, we will be posting a permanent post that will give specific instructions for the various sign in options.
No one's identity should be compromised.
This is a work in progress in order to make 24/7 a safe place to talk about Adam..
@Anonymous 10:51 AM
I'm not sure I understand your reason for not signing in... Could you explain further?
A few things to know: (and perhaps consider..) for all of us:
You can choose any sign in "name" that you wish. You do not have to sign in with your real name. Clearly many others do not wish to do that either.. Including me :) No thanks!!! @glitzylady IS my "Adam fan" name and my twitter name, BTW, so it is definitely an "identity" of sorts for me however... I own my comments...the good and not so good :)
The "Google Blogger" sign-in is easy and allows for complete privacy. And if you go to your own "profile" which is available to you and anyone else, by clicking on your "name" ie glitzylady, etc.., you see what others can see.
By then clicking on "Edit User Profile" (upper right hand corner of your Profile page), you can control what is "public" and what is not.. And you chose your own "Display Name" which again is glitzylady for me.. that's what everyone else sees when you comments. And that is ALL that people need to see. Nothing else.. Unless you choose differently. No private info need be available to anyone else.. Period.. Your privacy is protected..
You can choose any name you wish.. I just hope that it isn't "anonymous" :))) although that is a choice... too many anons and we're right back where we started.. Choose XYZ, whatever. :))))
Personally, I originally started out with a gmail (Google mail) acct..(for my "fan" emails when I didn't wish to use my personal email..) which then made it easy to sign up for a Google Blogger acct..
When others click on your "name" (in this case "anonymous"), it takes them to your profile which clearly states (again in your case) that further info of any kind is not available to anyone... So your privacy is protected. No one will know who you are in "real life".
Hope this helps :))
And in general: More thoughts about the sign-in topic...
In my opinion, It's just nice to know who is saying what. It's easier to follow a conversation.. This blog follows a VERY simple format.. No provision for direct replies which show up directly under the comment that is being replied to (although in the "mobile" format, it actually does allow for that..I wish the computer desktop version would do the same!) There **may** be a future upgrade to a slightly more complex site but not for the present time..
I agree too that I miss the larger number of comments here and unfortunately they have been reduced as a result of the transition to sign-ins only. I remember when I first started doing this "blogging about Adam" thing.. It was a little scary.. but so far so good.. I had never commented on a blog EVER before Adam!!! YIKES!! It was ultimately another thing that was a direct result of Adam: I wanted to talk to others who found him to be quite amazing and fascinating...and a fabulous singer..
Back to the sign in situation....
BUT things were becoming ugly here at times.. When people do not have to "identify" themselves in some way, with some sort of "name" there are those who sign as Anonymous feel that they are able to leave mean, overly sarcastic, false, insulting to Adam or to others, comments, and then just sit back in their computer chairs and watch the resulting reactions.. and in their opinions, the FUN.. It's easy to comment and run if there is no requirement for registration..
There have been many requests and pleas over the past few months (actually longer) for the Administrator to block some of the truly obvious internet trolls ie those who come here for the express and only purpose to say truly nasty things about Adam or others... The sign in will make that more possible. Naughty is one thing (heck, Adam is sometimes the king of "naughty" and sexy :)) but mean and disrespectful is another thing..
The intent of the sign in is NOT to curtail conversation, to ask everyone to NOT have an opinion... Whether those opinions agree or disagree with someone else's.. It is just hoped that a certain degree of civility to each other here is maintained. ie not call each other rude names..etc. That seems to be working..
In the past, the Owner/Administrator of the blog left it as an open forum for everyone to comment and flail about Adam, and it had been that way since she developed the fan blog waaaay back when Adam was first getting started on this amazing journey. And that's why we're here, right??! But there are those who took advantage of that "open-ness" and abused the privilege and she finally has had enough and instituted a sign in..
Almost every internet blog has some sort of sign in requirement... Many use twitter or Facebook as easy sign in's.. Others require signing in with other options just like 24/7 now does, by creating an account before commenting.. It's just the way things are...
I truly hope that helps to explain the reasons why the Admin took this step.. Over time, many people who had been long time commenters left in disgust.. Hoping some will sign in and come back... Guess we'll see.....
By the way, there are other options for signing in as well... Check them out under "Choose an identity" under the comment box..
Word Press is one, another easy one is Live Journal.. and a couple of others.. All allow you to use a nickname.. and hide your other real life info...
Thanks again for the warm welcome @glitzylady and thanks everyone for the very nice comments. To use one of Adam's favorite (and most humbling) phrases, "I'm honored" to be a part of the team and look forward to working with @Admin, @Admin Fan, and @glitzylady to keep 24/7 as THE place for all things Adam!
