American Idol season 8 is hardly an Adam Lambert CD. Where is FYE or Trespassing?

The best of CD has songs from all of Adam's albums.

The best of has only three songs with Adam writing credit.

Who cares about Idol albums.

I got the idol albums when they came out and recently got the new Best Of CD. Always a thrill seeing Adam's music in a store no matter what era.

I would LOVE to have Adam's studio versions of his Idol songs but I don't live in the US so couldn't download from Apple and not possible for me to buy the physical CDs outside the US. :-(

I suspect that your post to which you refer that disappeared was accidentally sent to the "spam" file by "Blogger" and was not intentionally removed. It happens sometimes. If your comment had been deleted by Admin (or by yourself) it would be noted as such.

I admire his voice. He can sing songs from any good songwriter and I am ecstatic .

I know he makes more money if he's credited as a songwriter, but first the song has to be popular and purchased and played. Album #3 can be written by anyone as long as it's sung by Adam.

Frank Sinatra didn't write his songs! I believe he did okay in the business.

It's great to see these cds in Walmart featuring Adam. But I am waiting for the new album and when that will be available in stores. With all the positive comments and reviews Adam has been receiving from this summer concert with Queen, it hopefully will spike the interest in a new album from him later this year or early in 2015.

Change it back--it was better! Elvis didn't write his songs, Whitney Houston didn't write hers.

Adam sounded damn good on Idol and someone else wrote those songs.

Let songwriters write and singers record. Maybe we'd get albums and singles more frequently. The music industry is dying, shake it up. Put people to work.

@2:03 you make some interesting points. When I hear a great song for the first time, I never wonder if the singer wrote that song. It's an interesting fact, but not that big of a deal. In Adam's case, I think many of his best songs are ones he co-wrote, so for that reason(plus the fact that I'd like to see him earn a great living doing what he does so well), I'd like him to perform songs he wrote. But how much better would he sing/perform Sleepwalker or Whole Lotta Love had he written those songs??

Why are people happy about Idol cds when Trespassing and For Your Entertainment aren't there? This isn't cool or awesome.

The reason we all know about Adam now is 100% because of American Idol. I know Adam is very grateful for the opportunity it gave him. Glad his recordings from that time are still selling.
