Sorry, but i don't like the mustache.......

These QueenBert concert dates are pretty close; quite exhausting I'd think for Adam's voice and also the older guys like Brian, Roger, Spike who plays the keyboard with great finesse...in A Crazy Little Thing Called Love where Adam and Brian thump their fingers on the high keys. I like that portion, so energising and coming from such a strong old guy; music is magical and healing, keeps the spirit high.

8:42, seriously, you are still hung up on that? What an idiot.

I'm enjoying all the pics and vids from this tour.

OT - just read another positive review of the LA Forum show by the orange county register (plus the san gabriel tribunes excellent review). Just wanted peeps to know that MOST music critics in the LA area know awesomeness when they hear it! . . . Adamluv

Way to start a thread! :(

I don't like the mustache either.

I'll third that re the mustache and unfortunately, it looks as though it isn't coming off any time soon. Maybe when other guys shave theirs off, Adam will do likewise.

Listened and watched fantastic vids from last night, just flabbergasted at my computer, don't even dare to think what it would be like to be there so close to all this FOR REAL....

Adam is so comfortable and confident with all the songs now so the fantastic singer/performer/actor is literally FLYYYYIIIINGG!!!!

The intimacy Adam and Brian share in their 'encounters' is wonderful and so much fun to watch. There's also that element of tingling sensual/sexual tension that you can see in performances when the front man & the lead quitarist "click"... and having Adam as the front man everything clicks!!!!!!!!

Anonymous said...

Oh go watch the videos all you yapping about the stache, so totally unnecessary.

The man is singing his heart out, performing like no other, taking the audiences by storm and that's all you can think of to comment?!?!?!?

There's a really interesting fan art on Instagram. It's been posted by coocooya. Here's the link .....

3:56, Amen to that! The man is performing his ass off in every possible way. A mustache is such a minor element. It doesn't even occur to me to get hung up on it.

Love that funky fan art! It's so different and creative. Adam is the absolute perfect subject for art of all kinds.

Haven't gotten to the vids yet, but hope to later. Sounds like he blew the roof off, as I would expect he would!

"Queen's Greatest Hits" (platinum x 15) and "Queen's Greatest Hits II" (platinum x 8) are both charting again in one of the official Australian Record Industry Association Charts so let's hope Adam's albums will also be back in the charts here once he's toured in Australia with Queen. :-)

Great news about Queen's greatest hits albums! Hope Adam gets the same boost when it comes time for his new music. Hope is previous albums see a boost, too.

Just watched a bunch of LV2 vids. They are as amazing as I expected they would be. Brian and Roger sure don't have to worry about things "working" when Adam is on stage. He's a real commander of the stage and works with complete confidence.

A new San Jose review:

It was forty-five minutes past the announced start time, and one of the sound men was tapping his watch. The impatient audience was pounding out the intro to We Will Rock You with their hands and feet. And in response, the music began, the arena roared like a lion, and the royal purple Queen logo curtain was dropped. On with the show.

Covered in the darkness on the stage, Grammy-nominated Adam Lambert began to fiercely belt out the fittingly, Now I’m Here. And yes he was. The lights came up and out he strutted onto the stage like a rock star, dressed in all black studded leather jacket, leather pants and gloves, and gold sunglasses. This was one of a few costume changes to come. His image filled up the screen inside of the giant illuminated metal circle of what cleverly formed part of the ‘Q’ on stage. (The light-lined catwalk leading to the second stage in the audience formed the tail of the letter.) Lambert owned the stage with his swagger and his breath-taking vocals that rocked. He looked like he was having the time of his life along with Brian May who rocked right beside him, grinning like the Cheshire Cat.

And now I'm in love with Roger Taylor

Garnett research is just a fan blog with 200 followers. You can't take that seriously.

The only complaint I have about any of these reviews, is that Roger Taylor is often overlooked. He is a fantastic drummer, and his part of the show is just as important as Brian and Adam's. The show would not be complete or as stupendous without him. I think more credit should be given to the drummer, he is mentioned here and there as an after thought. All done, I said my piece.

Queen and Adam are on a roll. I wonder if they'll do an album together.

I agree. There should be more credit given to Roger. He wrote some of Queen's songs, my fave being Radio Ga Ga.

Went to the concert first night in Vegas. I have not one single complaint. Adam is beyond words in appearance and voice. Queen doesn't miss a beat. All are so talented and deserve all the praise they are getting. Long live Queen+ADAM LAMBERT.

There is still virtually no coverage of all of this awesomeness on major US media sites. Just more about Jessica Simpson' wedding. Remind me what' she's done in the past decade to deserve this much coverage? Can't win w/ this mentality.

Hey all you Peeps posting links, Thanks a Bunch!

@7:09 @7:30 - thank you for the link to the ocregister review. I dont know how to do that so appreciate it when someone helps out. . . . . Adamluv

10:45AM- I agree with you that there is still not any kind of coverage on any of the media entertainment shows about Queen and Adam Lambert concerts. I watch several of these shows either during the day or in the evening, and nothing has been mentioned of this concert series. I suppose the people who want to see Adam and/or Queen knew all about it and got their tickets. Most of the venues are sold out or close to it. The written reviews and comments from people who have been to the concerts are mostly all positive with accolades for Adam's performance. I suppose that makes Adam, Brian and Roger feel great and that's all that probably matters. I am so tired reading or hearing about the Kardashians, Kanye's rants, Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke and the Simpson wedding. Let's hear about some amazing iconic rock music performed by Queen and Adam Lambert which is refreshing and exciting from performers who are so talented and enjoy what they are doing.

Anonymous said...

I don't think Queen is as popular in the US as other iconic bands such as the Beatles or Rolling Stones.

Anonymous said...

Maybe if every Glambert quit buying People Magazine and the other rags that gave all the Jessica Simpson and any Kardashian, take your pick, news...we could put a tiny dent in their cash drawer. Remind them that another artist with actual talent is touring with an Iconic band and that you'd like to see some photos of that instead of Rhianna's butt...again! And Kim's and Nikki M's and whoever's fat ass is hot news this week.

Bummer too bad

It is sad that Adam does not make it on the daily shows just a little mention about the concert would be great from the view Ellens show,Fallon any of them.I hope this does not happen ever but if Adam would get into some kind of trouble or cause trouble that would make the headlines & all the talk shows sad but true.

Are there any videos of the secon night in vegaa?

Anonymous said...

Agreed that Roger is a fantastic drummer. Just watch him play during Under Pressure. And Brian is like Adam in that he changes things up a little with each performance. You would think with playing those songs for 30 years or so that you'd run out of ideas. :) That's the sign of an artist. Mucho respect for those guys.

I must say though, I missed them doing Dragon Attack. I love that song. But I love all the songs they're doing on this tour, so it's all good. Was lucky enough to see the Chicago show.:)

I just read the Garnett Research article and, fan blog or not, it was a wonderful article, giving opinions on almost every song. I thoroughly enjoyed it. So, thank you to who posted it.
