Glastonbury Festival 2015 may be almost nine months away, however, those hoping to attend are already planning for the big event.

On Wednesday night, the festival’s 15,000 coach packages sold out and on Sunday (5 October) the remaining tickets will go on sale.
While Michael Eavis and his family are determined to keep the line-up a secret, the festival’s organiser has confirmed that he’s already booked the three headliners.
So far, everybody from Fleetwood Mac to Queen have been tipped as potential headliners, and there’s also plenty of talk about who could take on the Sunday afternoon legends’ slot, following Dolly Parton’s stand-out performance in 2014.

This gig sounds amazing if they can manage to do it. I would think that Brian and Roger would want. And the exposure for Adam would be astronomical. Can we assume that each act would not do a full two+ hour set? I would think they would have shorter sets. In any case, I hope the rumors are true. Seems like QAL is creating a lot of excitement in the music world and Adam is a good part of that draw, IMO.

Great rumor at the very least.

Amazing that tickets sell out before line up is announced. Must always be a great festival.

Glastonbury Festival is legendary... People know it will be awesome so buy up the tickets when they have the chance.. .

There is much more to it than just the main events too... Sort of a cross between Woodstock and Burning Man with multiple arts events...Guessing Adam would LOVE to go! (As would I, but not happening :((

From Wikipedia:

"Glastonbury Festival (originally Pilton Pop, Blues & Folk Festival; current formal title Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts) is a five-day music festival that takes place near Pilton, Somerset, England. In addition to contemporary music, the festival hosts dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret, and other arts. It is organised by Michael Eavis on his own land, Worthy Farm in Pilton. Leading pop and rock artists have headlined, alongside thousands of others appearing on smaller stages and performance areas. Films and albums recorded at Glastonbury have been released, and the festival receives extensive television and newspaper coverage. Glastonbury is the largest greenfield festival in the world, and is now attended by around 175,000 people,[1] requiring extensive infrastructure in terms of security, transport, water, and electricity supply. The majority of staff are volunteers, helping the festival to raise millions of pounds for good causes."

"Inspired by the ethos of the hippie, counterculture, and free festival movements, the festival retains vestiges of these traditions, such as the Green Fields area, which includes the Green Futures and Healing Field. After the 1970s, the festival took place almost every year and grew in size, with the number of attendees sometimes being swollen by gate-crashers. Eavis hosted the first festival, then called Pilton Festival, after seeing an open-air Led Zeppelin concert at the 1970 Bath Festival of Blues and Progressive Music; fourteen people invested everything they had to build the stage."

"The Festival was held intermittently from 1970 until 1981, since when it has been held every year, except for "fallow years" intended to give the land, the local population and the organisers a break, usually taken every 5 years."
