Is Queen + Adam Lambert headed towards new music? Drummer Roger Taylor thinks so -- or at least hopes so. Taylor tells us that the group's next move is a European tour in early 2015, but he and guitarist Brian May would also like to hit the studio with singer Lambert to see what could happen there.
"I would hope so. I would hope it would, actually. I think it would be a very interesting experiment. It would be nice to just go in and see what came out. I don't know if it would be an album or anything, but I think it's too good a marriage to just let it go at touring. I'm sure we'll do something. His voice is so extraordinary, and it's a beautiful instrument. I think it would be nice. We better come up with some material...
" Taylor added that Lambert is also busy working on a solo album, while the drummer is preparing to release a pair of solo compilations -- the single-disc "Best" on October 27 and the box set "The Lot" on November 11 -- and the "Queen Forever" compilation, featuring three previously unreleased tracks, is due out November 11.

Adam is half way through his own album, perhaps it would be better timing if Adam's new album gets off the ground first; similarly Queen's compilations. And then after that, come together to work on a QAL album. In this case, the QAL album might take a longer time to fulfil.
This is because though we like Queen songs, many fans still want Adam's own songs, me included; they feel more current and relevant to Adam and Glamberts. But QAL should have a collaboration eventually.
Roger said they would not be doing an album with Adam, but they want to do something with some new material, and that they had better start writing some. He said Adam is too good to just end it all with this tour. They are in the thinking process.
