GOOD!!!
Happy face!!:)
Canadian
Didn't Adam once say that listening to Britney was a guilty pleasure.
With all due respect, respect to people and also the point of a fansite (it being for all opinions), it astounds me that Adam fans, good wonderful devoted Adam fans, can not see the benefit of such a collab, my POV.
She said it was just a rumor weeks ago.
I am a good and devoted fan of Adam, and his status as a celebrity has passed her now.
May be I am missing something, can you tell me any advantage to him collaborating with her.
Britney is going to collab with one of those young rapper girls.
Maybe because she appeals to a lot of teen boppers and Adam collaborating with her would open the teeny bopper door more for him.
Why is this here now, almost two months later?
As for those who don't get it, Britney is still hugely popular with a younger demographic. She has been so successful in Vegas they extended her residency. 5:43 PM, no, Adam's celebrity has not passed Britney's. Like her or not, she is an iconic household name.
Moot point but whether we as fans like a particular collab or not, we should be happy about it for Adam and his career.
I imagine Britney's fans are already familiar with Adams music. I doubt any collab. would make them swarm to him, if they haven't already.
I don't know what female I think Adam would match up well to. Ohhh I just thought of one P!nk. Love her!!!
I just thought of another one LadyGaGa. Their FBG was pretty darn good.

She is not an iconic anything. She might be a household name because of her sad life. Drugs, wildly shaving her hair off etc.
Never have understood her popularity. Adam even went to her opening in Las Vegas, I think like he does for most of the underdogs.
8:04PM, thanks for the laughs.
I think Adam would be spectacular teamed with Christina Aguilera. Her voice is as strong as his and they could match octave for octave. I doubt this would ever happen, but my ears sure would like to hear the result!
Britney sure has had a wonderful career for being an underdog. She is sweet never hurt a fly. She is handling LV very very well.
Anon 8:00pm..... Great thought - Pink. That would be an awesome collaboration if Adam ever desired to do one with another artist. Nice! :)
JAK.... :). I was just thinking to add my thoughts of Christina A. as a formidable collab prospect as well when I read your post. I, too, think their voices would blend well and be fairly matched in range and power.
Doesn't seem like a likely collab at this point.... But, hey, depending on how his career goes and so many directions it can take.... Who knows? My sincere hope is that many marketable and prestigious singers will be tripping all over themselves and each other to get the opportunity to collab with Adam. And I know you feel the same! :)))
8:04 please troll elsewhere.
Yeah, this was mentioned and then pretty much discounted in November but things have a way of showing up again......
And to the person who commented at 8:04PM, THIS:
Britney Spears has 40 million plus twitter followers. And she made $58 million in 2012.. Not as much this year but things go up and down for musicians depending on what's happening during that time frame. Touring is a huge money earner for most musicians. If not touring, income goes down..
And she has millions upon millions of devoted fans.. She had a difficult time some years ago but has overcome her problems.. Kudos to her...
She's hardly an "underdog".....And yes, she is iconic.....
Although..... I just saw this on twitter... So who knows if any of this is true or not..

???
She has invested her money very well, to be worth that much. Not all the money could be from her singing, that's way more than Brian or Roger of Queen. She is not old enough to make that just from singing, kudos to her if that is true. She has a good business manager. I hope Adam gets his invested too.
Glitzy, your 9:15.... Hmm! Be interesting to see what happens....??
Glitzy, that is a fake album release going around in the Britney fandom.
Same thing is going to happen with the fake Adam one, Sam Smith and Ariana Grande fans are going to be wondering if it is real.
Thanks for the info, Anon 9:47....:))
(At least the fake Adam one has distinctively false and fairly humorous credits that are easy to catch; ie: "album release January 32, 2015" and so on..... So, perhaps folks will know)
@Anon 9:34 PM
Britney, in 2014, took in $20 million, which made her the #10 top Earning Woman in Music.

In 2012 $58 million, the 7th highest paid musician (male and female) of 2012

* ie: 12/32/2015 .... Typo. :-\
9:34 PM, Britney earns nearly as much as Celine Dion does per show in Vegas. They both reportedly earn around $475,000 per show. Insane.
Don't forget the government gets 50%
@Anon 9:47 PM
I had heard that info 2 months ago, about it being fake... but it's still being passed around. I suppose to be honest, that's what this thread is about... The repeat of the response to the rumor.... "JUST a rumor"....
Looked fake to me too :)) but you know, sometimes there's a little hint of truth in things.. I doubted the rumor in November and to be honest, I doubt it now..
Seemed odd also to be "released in Japan", and then the UK... What about the US?? That was a HUGE tip-off to me right there.
:))))
@6:27 Adam is a REAL singer . . little chance he will open "teeny bopper" area
@4:13, that's quite pessimistic of you. Having said that, I suppose that I must admit that I have had similar feelings here and there, I definitely have. But if one studies the artists who have done well in Pop & Top 40 radio over the last 5 years, there are many who would qualify as having been a long shot to crack the Top 40/Pop nut, so to speak. And age certainly won't stop Adam from making a run at the teeny bopper demographic (just as it doesn't Fergie or Pharell, to name just a few). Fergie's new single definitely has "timely" Pop/Top 40 appeal to the young crowd, so that's helpful ... but Pharell's music of the last few years, not so much, and it exploded nonetheless ... so I decided to be optimistic about Adam cracking that Top 40/Pop teeny bopper nut. Fingers crossed. :) And btw, Britney can still absolutely capture the Tween/teen/20's-somethings demographic, so I find it a win/win to even see her name and Adam's in the same sentence, from a PR standpoint anyway. Just my POV. Jessie J didn't pick Ariana Grande to collaborate with on Bang Bang because she thought Ariana was the best and most ariculate voice on the planet ;), get my drift? (which is not to say that Ariana is talented, because she absolutely is, but I would suspect that Jessie J's team looked at the draw and demographic that Ariana pulls down when making that collab decision). Anyway, this thread is probably way dead. Have a good day all.
