What a nice looking young man.

I must have missed this tonight.

Where's the Queen promo? I was out & couldn't watch the show.

I taped the show and then fast forwarded to the end thinking (and hoping) there would be a promo for next weeks show......and i didn't see it either!

I watched the show and never saw this.

The flash of Adam's picture was in a little feature toward the beginning of the show tonight, about the "superstar" careers that Idol has launched over the seasons.. I loved that we saw his picture up there with the most successful Idols.. because well, he is!!!

The first show next week, Wednesday Jan. 14th, doesn't include Adam as a guest judge.. So they were only promo-ing that day.

Adam will be on, stepping in for Keith Urban on Thursday, Jan. 15th, so I assume we'll see his promo at the end of the show on Wed.

Gotta say, there was some talent on the show tonight.. I think the show has been stepped up a bit.. It was entertaining.... And the judges were on point re the people featured in the auditions, at least for the most part. (IMHO)...

By the way, in case you're wondering, the "Nice little Queen Promo on Idol" refers to the "Queen + Adam Lambert" logo in the background, off to the right of the picture of Adam from American Idol Season 8.

I had to DVR it; and it did not come up on the tape. Wasted my time running it through the tape; and nothing, no Adam. But, apparently, just a mention of his pending appearance and they got a lot of views they would not have gotten otherwise. I will not be watching it again until January the 15th when he will actually be on there.

I watched most of it; but, sorry, was not impressed. In my opinion; it was mostly all about the judges. Adam's talent just spoiled the heck out of me!

Hopefully, when the show actually begins with all the ones picked; someone will emerge and get that big break that they will need!!

I'd like to ask a question of you contributors here @ 24/7 about last night's show (I don't want to sound quite so crabby & entitled as someone up-thread, who I shall not time/date stamp, but geez dude, you are responsible for your own life & viewing choices), anyway, can anyone tell me right off the top of their heads who else was listed/shown as Idol success stories in the little blurb last night? Please don't anyone go to any trouble, I can google it myself if I really want to know of course, :), I just only really come here most days, so thought I'd ask :). In any event, cool mention for Adam, on a very big stage, so to speak, regardless of slipping ratings.

Didn't watch AI. Apparently I didn't miss much. Will be glued to the TV on the 15th to watch our boy!

One more thing. I would be so cool if the ratings shot up next week for Adam's episode. I know the season's just started, but still. Just dreamin'.

I really liked the girl (woman) you mentioned. Her name is Jess Lambs, and just guessing here, but I suspect Adam would have appreciated her style, and her voice. She's fun, she's interesting, she's quirky, and she can really sing.. She's a bit like Adam in that she's been out there working for awhile, she's experienced and confident.

I just have to say that I thought the show was actually enjoyable for the most part.. I've watched it every year since David Cook's year, and of COURSE Adam Lambert's season was and is the high point of the series for me, and always will be, but I still enjoy seeing the talent. And I have to disagree with those who say it's all about the judges.. We all have our own perspective and that's mine :))) This season seems to be off to a good start. We'll see how things progress.

@Jan9,7:15AM, I think they showed Carrie Underwood and Jennifer Hudson in addition to the pic of Adam as Idols that have achieved fame. Have to admit I always watch to see if there will be any reference to Adam, no matter hoe brief. I think this season so far is an improvement & think the judge's comments aren't as sugar coated. I'm glad that we don't have to sit thru' the ridiculously untalented time wasters & would rather see real talent. I don't think anyone will ever match Adam's talent or charisma, but there is talent out there. Whenever I see contestants cover a song (like the group song in the beginning of the show)that Adam has previously done, they never come close. He forever owns it & has raised the bar higher than anyone will achieve.

I have Verizon FIOS Cable so just out of curiosity I scrolled over to next week to see if there was any mention of ADAM on the guide ... and Lo! & Behold! ... there WAS!!
Judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, Harry Connick, Jr. plus Guest Judge ADAM LAMBERT (my caps not theirs) ... my heart is still doing a Happy Dance and my face has a silly grin every time I go there!! Can't WAIT for Jan. 15th ... can't come soon enough for me!!!
