JAK... how intriguing that you work with charcoal pencil and have artistic interests and ability. You posess so many talents! My daughter is exceptional at it and produces gorgeous work... as does her grandfather (my dad). As for me?... well, lets just say that talent definitively skipped a generation ;(
@ yada......I did portraits for most of my adult life. Mostly in oils or water colors, but occasionally I could talk someone into black and white drawings, either charcoal or pen and ink.
My daughter discovered her artistic talent only in the last year or so....cartooning! She has had a few published.
JAK... your art work, Wow. I adore black & white portraits. There is a certain beauty of a person's essence captured in black & white. Understated ... powerful... wistfully antiquated...and yet, fresh somehow. I'd wager your portraits are really gorgeous. :)
...And your daughter who apparently received her talent from you. Must make you SO proud and glad she is published. Fantastic! :)
The depiction of Brian is excellent and Adam looks pretty good here too.
