This is not funny... this is REALITY, when you open your mind and heart to the VOICE, the stage presence and the mindbogglingly (lol!) beautiful, sexy, multifaceted persona of Adam Lambert!
He is just stating a fact. I can totally understand a Freddie fan not wanting to hear some one else sing Queen songs. I never followed Queen with Freddie, but I don't usually like a singer doing someone elses songs. It isn't the same at all. But Adam is unique in that he makes the songs his own, with his own style, of course it helps that I love everything he sings. I am glad there are some people who are brave enough to pay the price to hear Queen and Adam. For the most part, they have been pleasantly surprised, and have enjoyed the concerts tremendously.
That is great, if only everyone would open their minds, as this person did.
Fact is that Adam can sing. Nobody in his right mind should argue with that. If you can't connect with him as an artist or if you don't like the way his voice sounds in particular songs that's another thing.
The guy that tweeted must have an appreciation for vocal talent as well an open mind. Love it.
Too bad that AI and other singing shows carry such a stigma. So many people close their minds to some very talented contestants who have been on those shows. Being on a singing comp. show doesn't automatically mean you're not talented.
Love this guy's admission that Adam is the best thing since Freddie. It takes guts for some Queen fans to say that. Hope he spreads the word!
As a loooong time fan of Queen's music I was a frequent viewer of the videos with Freddie. I was so happy when I was able to hear it and see it performed again ...live!
Adam singing it was the bonus treat!
He is just echoing(sp) many many tweets and comments I read on twitter, etc. after the NYE show!
That evening was a very big boost to Adam's celebrity status! He just needed to be seen and heard by the masses.
The power of the media! I hope he gets that chance to be on some major TV show in the USA!!
