Another review, John Aizlewood,
London Evening Standard. This one, albeit generally favorable, contains a bit of snarkiness and is careful to not wholeheartedly praise Adam
— it's all sort of done in "backhanded compliment." But he does give it a 4 out of 5 stars (albeit, the readers' collective rating is 5 stars) and there's enough positivity to say it's a good review
— although nothing in there I found worth highlighting, so let's go straight to the link:

Thanks for posting. :)
Some people in this fandom have set amazingly high standards for reviews to meet. Reviews are still valid even if we don't agree with them 100%. Not everyone will have the same opinion. (Ironically Admin was a bit snarky himself in the review of the review.)
This was a short and fine review. I did find this part worth sharing:
"but since 2012 Adam Lambert has vindicated May and Taylor's decision to soldier on. Last night, at the second of their two O2 sell-outs, he showed why."
@Anon5:37am: I guess the old phrase "you can't please everyone" works on many different levels, doesn't it? I very much appreciate your feedback.
Well I found it a bit snarky to; but funny; because try as some critics try they cannot deny the talents of Adam. I found it quite ironic how the writer had to frame the remarks as, "the loser of AL", instead of runner up. Oh well; he was never a loser and continues to win the heart and soul of audiences every he performs, critics approval or not.
I felt this writer was kinder to Adam than Brian and Roger, which is crazy in itself. Seems as though the person had a slight chip on their shoulder; but could not deny the major success of the Queen and Adam combination. All in all; very good, and pretty fair review!!!
So many great reviews; cannot complain. In Queen and Adam review Heaven!!!!!!
LOL I saw this review on another fan site where it was called "really really good because the author is one of the harshest critics out there." Guess your point of view makes a difference :)
I don't get the automatic negativity to what someone considers a less than glowing rave review. I hope fans can take these reviews with a grain of salt. Not everybody likes the same the same thing and everybody is entitled to an opinion.
What matters to me is that I love Adam's voice and performances. I don't care if every reviewer feels the same.
Reviewers don't always have to flail like devoted Glamberts when they write a positive review. This was a positive review, esp. for Adam. The writer did not gush over every little thing, but he succinctly praised Adam's performance and stage presence and felt the whole QAL partnership is a good thing.
That's a positive review in my book.
Well, fans and others have a right to their thoughtful opinions also; and are just as entitled to them as the reviewers are. Opinions are what fan sites are all about, and not just to always walk in lock step!!
So let us not be so quick to criticize the opinions of fans of Queen an Adam!
Grown people should not be told how to think or express themselves if done in a thoughtful way; even if someone else does not agree with their opinion!!
broddybounce.... Thank you for getting these posted for us and all who come here. I like your intros that you write and post along with the reviews and all your posts. Your take on it also makes it quite intriguing and informative. Please keep up the great work just as you're doing...it's apprecIated! :))
