Queen and Adam Lambert begin European tour rehearsals

Brian May has confirmed that Queen, with Adam Lambert as frontman, have begun rehearsals for their upcoming European tour.
The Queen guitarist revealed on Twitter that rehearsals are underway, saying: "First day of Queen + Adam rehearsals today. Ready to rock a town near you SOON! See you out there. Cheers - Bri."
The European tour will begin in Newcastle on 13th January and will include one show at London's O2 Arena on 17th January. The rock icons will then return to the UK in late February following a series of dates around Europe for three additional shows in Liverpool, Sheffield and London's Wembley Arena.
It has also been announced today (8th January 2015) that Queen and Adam Lambert's 2014 North America tour is nominated for Ultimate Classic Rock's 'Tour of the Year' award. The tour which saw the band play 19 shows across 18 cities around the US and Canada is up against The Rolling Stones, Fleetwood Mac and Judas Priest for the gong.
Having toured both North America and Australia in 2014, Queen and Adam Lambert welcomed in the New Year by performing at London's Westminster Hall for a show which was broadcasted on BBC One and reportedly watched by 10 million people and the rock legends brought in 2015.

Brian and Roger must be pinching themselves at how the QAL team has worked out. They wereready to let their careers wind down and let their lives go in other directions. But NO! Adam cam and shook it all up and now they are filling arenas again. So cool that they have been nominated for Ultimate Classic Rock Tour of 2014! Stiff competition, but who knows? They certainly deserve it. They are a bolt out of the blue and surprising millions of people once again.
QAL is a powerhouse collaboration and i am so lucky to be alive to fully enjoy them, certainly a treat in this day and age when the musicality in the industry is sadly missing. Or maybe i am just too old for the kind of music of this generation. But Queen's music lives on and they have the best vocalist yet to breath life into their amazing collection of songs.
Thank you Adam for all those years that you've been entertaining us and thank you for sharing your gift to the world. The universe is so kind to let this happen now.
You are my guilty pleasure in life and the joy and happiness you bring is priceless. ILYSM AML and please continue entertaining while doing what you love the most :D

Admin fan needs to check the Queen + Adam schedule. The one listed is all wrong!
The schedule listed within the article is for the UK only, and doesn't include the continental European tour dates..
There is only one concert not listed in the schedule within the article: London at the O2 on January 18th..
