Adam Lambert Complements Queen In Tour Despite Age Gap; Former 'American Idol' Struts His Stuff On Stage

Adam Lambert is reportedly fitting perfectly with Queen despite the huge age gap, as the former "American Idol" strutted his stuff with relative ease on stage.
The Nottingham Post claimed that the late Freddie Mercury would have approved of Adam Lambert as the heir apparent to his own flamboyance and talent.
"He isn't Freddie of course, and nor does he make any claim to be the great man's heir, preferring to pay respectful tribute to his memory by leading a celebration of his music," it said.
Adam Lambert admitted in an article by UK Express that being included in the Queen tour has increased his confidence level.
In fact, he's now working on a solo album.
"I think people are going to be really surprised," he said. "The album feels like a new era for me - emotionally, lyrically, sonically. It feels fresh."
Adam Lambert also said that his album is heavily influenced by the time he spent with the Queen band during the tour.
"Being on the road with a British rock band, and being in London a lot this year... I think that has affected my sound and where we are headed with it," Lambert said. "Europe is very ahead of the curve... and I was definitely influenced by that."
During the Queen + Adam Lambert performance at the Capital FM Arena, the former "American Idol" alum had to strut his stuff on stage with added pressure as Freddie Mercury's mother was there to watch the performance, said Nottingham Post.
"Lasers pierced the air, a huge screen in the shape of a Q projected 50 feet high images of the guys in action, a circle of beams descended over the stage as Roger Taylor was raised on high. It was beyond spectacular," the article noted.

Hello AdminFan! Am I glad to see you back...waited for you sooo long lwl!
Your above caption is smacked on! At least Adam is now known formally as American Idol, without that ubiquitous bit.
Adam is perfect for the Vienna Boys Choir. lwl! The fierce applause at QAL confirms it. Thank goodness he withstood a full blast of the flu that hit Brian. Adam's voice was in top form; 'Save Me' was in actuality a singing demonstration lesson; love the a-cappella effect, the way he rounds the words/notes.
Hey AdminFan...when Adam and Sauli skated in the rink/Amsterdam, I was so tickled because it reminded me so much of my Bert and Saul story; it was as if my story took on life lol!...only my story was a lot more dramatic; like Saul froze when he heard Mad World played in the ice-rink and also, Bert flipped Saul onto his shoulders and skated like real pro. lol! If they practised, they might actually be able to execute that stunt. lwl!

Your "despite age gap" phrase is more than what it states. Adam is like a bridge; he bridged the gap so seamlessly, we can't see where it starts or ends. Brian and Roger must have thought long and hard before hiring Adam as their New Guy; I think there could have even been a toss of a coin and they got heads up.

I think after QAL, Brian and Roger will be sooo satisfied they'll simply shut their minds about hiring another Freddie New Guy.
As for Adam's new album 'The Original High'...I haven't quite come to grips with it yet, like floating outside my brain. lol! I think it's original, a word I stress so often and, high, I use frequently. So which or what 'high' is Adam referencing. The word, original, seems to indicate how it all started...Mmm how about that bright light, high in the desert...that flashed at him to be a rockstar. lwl! Anyway, a rose by any other name smells or in this case, sounds as sweet.

By the way, that flash of light in the desert reminds me of Moses and the burning bush; and Gorgio Tsoukalos claims the burning bush might have been an extraterrestrial vehicle. I wonder if that flash of light Adam experienced might have been his Alien ancestors directing him. lwl!
