Adam Lambert is set to release his third studio album The Original High later this year, and he has dropped some hints of what kind of genres fans can expect from the LP.
He detailed to Digital Spy that the album is "definitely pop" and also mentionned that "there's some house on there" as well as "some R&B flavours". He added that the LP is "for the audience, not myself".
It seems Lambert is far more concerned now with pleasing and interesting his audience, as he elaborated: "I want it to be less about me, even though it's personal, and more about the listener. So whatever it means to you."
Lambert has has an extremely busy 2015, fronting the legendary Queen on a world tour that spanned 11 countries over 26 dates.

The Original High is due for release later this year. It will be Lambert's first album for Warner Bros Records and was recorded in Stockholm with Swedish producers Max Martin and Shellback. He told Billboard recently. "The two of them are just geniuses at what they do. And the vibe they create is so free of ego, it's about, "Let's make a great song." And that's what it should be. And they let me be me."

I think it was 66 minus the one he was ill. I believe.

That's a good transition, less self towards more listener emphasis; though ultimately it's still his own intimate artistic expressions.
Original High will fly because he has much stronger influential backing and connections now than for his two previous albums...WB music mogul worldwide, also Queen; just look at Brian's monumental music factory, he took us on tour recently. He's huge in the music business; all he needs is pick up the phone, throw in some strong words and lo and behold, Adam will shoot the rainbow. I also remember Brian briefly mentioning he and Roger want to help Adam get his music out. Well, Adam did that for Queen flat out.

I read 60 concerts but I should've counted them myself.

Wow. This is the first time I've been here in months - ever since the comment section changed.
I hope this next album has some good music on it.

I think we are going to love the new music. Great producers, phenomenal singer and he seems so excited and proud of it. Not to mention a record label that's willing to spend some bucks and promote it. They got him the best producers In the business right now that definitely took some money. Can't wait for single and album.
