Agree The Dark Side/10:18, it is cool! I was psyched when I saw this on another fan site earlier this morning... American Idol related press, never ever a bad thing imho. I understand why others may not agree, but good press imho. So so cute and sweet too! :)

And she is planning a duet with someone. Maybe some old idols coming back to do duets around top 4? They always have david cook come back. Jordin Sparks has music out. Lots would love the chance, along with adam of course.

I like Jax's also. She is good singer. She has a little edge to her style and music. She is my no. 1 all favorite all along. Don't know if she will win American Idol 2015.

David Cook is now signed with Warner/chapell(?) label as a songwriter I think he will do very well and hope he becomes very rich..

As far as David Cook, I never hear anything about him. How is his music doing? I remember him being a mentor on Idol and he did a good job. Who was the runner up with Adam, and he won? Never hear nothing of him.

I just answered my own question, I looked it up and it was Chris Ellen. What is going on with him?

Sorry to say that AI just doesn't do anything for me with the performers who are on this season or the last few. What happened to the winner from last year...what was his name? I was totally invested Season 8 with Adam and it was the only time I ever voted for anyone. Now the contestants just seem so young overall and lacking in stage presence. I'd like to see Adam back on the show to perform his new single and maybe that will happen.

Do I get drummed out of here if I admit to not being a fan of Jax?

kris and david both live in Nashville and are doing songwriting, performing, the usual stuff. David has a new album ready to release. Kris already released his 3rd album a year ago and did quite a lot of touring with it.

To 2:39PM --It was Kris Allen and I guess he is performing in small venues. You really don't hear much about him at all as with some of the other previous winners of IDOL. And you don't really hear or read much about Adam either unless you are a fan, check out various websites about him or followed any videos of the tour with Queen. I agree with 2:43PM that I would like to see Adam perform his new single on American Idol. That would be a great promo for the song.

I'm more excited about what's at 2:32 PM #1 than previous or current Idols.

I do not follow David Cook, but I absolutely love his "Laying Me Low" track, which her performed near the end of the season on Idol in May 2013. I actually new the song before that appearance, I don't know how, but I had come across it and loved it, bought it off of iTunes... was excited when David Cook sang it on Idol. Thanks so much @2:49 for that info about David's songwriting opportunities in Nashville, I'm happy to hear that, thx for the post.

Adam did a shoot for Notion magazine in the UK. I'll guess that's what is coming out this week.

Interesting thread. Having followed Adam since Day One and having been active on several fan sites since very early on, I have come to some conclusions:

The most significant on-going celeb news exists on social media, fan sites, Twitter, etc.
Even the biggest stars are not mentioned on TV as much anymore, unless something out of the ordinary happens. The real, day to day news is online. A casual Gaga fan, for example, who may buy her music but doesn't follow her sites will not know what she's doing in detail. Same for others who are at the top of the charts. You don't know a lot unless you follow them closely and regularly. My neighbor's teen daughter love Taylor Swift, but doesn't follow any of the other top singers closely. I asked her about it. We who follow Adam on a daily basis know how busy he has been and how excited we are about his new music, but most people will not. That doesn't mean he doesn't have a huge following of loyal fans. I'm sure David's and Kris's loyal fans know everything they are doing and are supporting them. They know how busy they are in their careers. If you are a major fan of Katy, Rihanna, Gaga, Taylor, Jay-Z, whoever, you'll know what they're doing all the time. If you follow them, you will know. If you don't, you won't, no matter how big they are. I realize the biggest stars do get more mention in mainstream media. Even Adam gets some of that. And there are still fan mags on the grocery store racks.

My only interest in Idol is if Adam is on. The show has run its course, at least to me. I heard somewhere that the AI tour this time will only be for the top five. The attendance at the AI tour shows has been diminishing. I wish them luck. If Adam is on, my highest hope will be that he can perform his own music alone. If he sings with Jax, that's ok, too. Might get Adam more fans if he does. Jax is getting quite a following. And she's put a shout-out to Adam about a duet. I guess I'm saying that awareness is very focused now. We pick and choose and get immediate feedback and info. It used to be that we had to listen to the radio a lot and maybe find out something in a mag or a TV news show. I like the direct sharing we can all do here. Means a lot.

What am I doing on this lovely Sunday afternoon?? Watching the 2 hour video of Adam's Idol performances of course!!! Lol I have watched this so many times and still find it exciting.

adam should give jax an opening spot on the next tour. that would help build her a fanbase. she is good, but young.

Adam career has been pretty darn good. He been on various TV shows has a guess star. Five times on glee. Guest judge on various TV shows. First to guest judge that was on idol on idol. He hosted and performed on divas. He performed on TV shows and talk shows all over the world not just Amartica. He been on magazine covers all over the world.

Sounds like they want him to sing again this year on idol. He was first to mentor did fantastic done it twice so far. First to judge.

He the front man for Queen. Just came off a world wide sold out your to great reviews. Over sixty concerts to great reviews. queen plus Adam just won band of the year and was on the cover of classic rock magazine. He done so much I'm five years I could never mention them all.
Now he has an album coming out this year and a single dropping I'm a week that so far have had raves from radio people. He finally has a record label that is fully backing him
That his words. Max Martin as a producer. Think we will be hearing and seeing Adam on TV and a lot more soon I'm America as well as a the world. His NYE televised show with Queen has now made him main stream I'm the UK.

True you don't really here a lot a bout lot of the stars but they are doing quite well. Adam viability on TV for this single and album is shortly on his way. He also will be fronting Queen for the rock in rio festival , huge fedtival which Queen and Adam sold out in less than two hours. That will be televised as well. Be great for Adams album.

Adam has a great career many whether he been on news shows every day or not neither has LG or KP but have great careers. Adam certainly has been on those news shows from time to time and is much talked about on the Internet.
Yes Adam a world star and growing he has not scratched the surface of his talent he is a huge tLent and so very much more to come in the next tie years. Adam will be doing promos for this new single and album and sure some will be on TV. AI has already said they want him to mentor the top four and likely sing his single hope it works out. Don't watch idol unless Adam on it. Yes I think the next two years will be very good for Adsmi could not be more excited for his new music. His career has done well but there is so, so much more to come he has not even scratched the surface of what he can do. He done very well in the money department his wealth will show a big jump in Forbes this year. Queen concerts, his own concerts over the years and TV has made him wealthy. But the important thing is he remains a very nice person who does not say in kind things about other musicians the opposite he builds them up . Many here could learn from him. He build other musicians up . Some are on this post on Adam site to push who they are fans of because Adam new music is dropping in a week. The single has so far been very well received by radio people with wonderful comment think a if review come Monday. Adam is always mentioned in articles as one of the best successes and best careers from idol. So much more to come.

Jax has good control of her voice and very creative. She has grown on me because of her talent.
I like Clark and Nick but not into Joey.
