My heart is bursting.

Who the heck would cause him to go that dark? From the "heart" or just clever writing? He definitely will get a sympathy vote for that short tweet!

Let's hope some very nice Spirits live there!

April 21st, hurry up and arrive before we all go batty!

Lol, 1:04PM :))...
I hear you completely!

And Dee R Gee & 12:22PM.... IKR? I know!!

.... I DO hope that the inspiration behind the lyrics are based upon only upon good, relateable writing and just situations of the heart we've all felt before.... And not anything from Adam's own personal experiences .... But, I remind myself that alas, he is human.... He feels things deeply and capable of great love.... and walks this earth and life path like the rest of us.

Whatever the inspiration .... Sounds like fantastic writing and an awesome, fresh vibe.. :))

My daughter (older teen).... (who, by the way, has rolled her eyes at my failings ab Adam and chuckled at me many times) ... heard both snippets yesterday and immediately exclaimed: "Oh, wow mom... That is SO cool! This song sounds like it's going to go over BIG TIME with the younger crowd... My group!"

.... Fingers crossed. Yes!! :))

Anonymous said...

Adam has already said; I believe, that TOH will be deeply personal. You can check that; but I know I read that on one of his interviews!

Anonymous said...

OT: Read on ATOP where someone posted a tweet from Adam, "I Dreamed I Died Last Night"! Assumptions are that it is another Lyric from GhostTown; you think?????

Anonymous said...

Is this song really about SAULI KOSKINEN?

Anonymous said...

Adam also said it was made such that it could be interpreted in many different ways, depending on the listener.

So let's not jump to conclusions. Let's wait for Adam to talk about each song as he did last time.

Anonymous said...

2:29 PM, it's in quotes, so yes, lyrics.

@adamlambert
"Died last night in my dreams..."

yada said...

I just love how he gets us talking :D

As many have said here before... He is the Master of tease.... He knows how to insert little tidbits and keep our interest flames fueled! :))

Anonymous said...

MHO. With all Adam's friends keeping him company, perhaps it's just a play on words, like a town full of ghosts.

Anonymous said...

Jumping to the conclusion that Adam wrote the lyrics.
We have no idea whose heart is a ghost town, if anyone's.
Just a clever lyric.

Anonymous said...

Not every lyric is how the singer feels, especially when other writers are involved and you are going for a hit single.

Anonymous said...

It's a Sauli break up song

Anonymous said...

What is this I am hearing that Sterling Fox, who actually was one of the writers of Ghost Town, is releasing a video with a more rock version, and he has released a lot of the lyrics too. Said he will be releasing his single about the time Adam is releasing his. I read all this on Adamtopia, if you want to check it out.

My ears are a ghost town, waiting for new music from adam.

Dee R Gee said...

Adam always puts us in Psych 101 with all the intense analyzing we do about his music. If he only knew......but then, he probably DOES know, and that's why he does it. GT sounds like a real tour de force, but one person who heard it said the middle of the song really sounds different from what we've heard. It really "takes off." HOPE SO!

Anonymous said...

@4:14
Adam would never write a song that would seem like a break up song about Sauli. If it even refers to a break up song, he wants us to interpret it to our own break ups, not his. Besides he hasn't broken off with Sauli, so that makes no sense.

Anonymous said...

I think the Sterling Fox thing is more of one of these remix scenarios. General Google him and it's easy enough to find his FB page, etc., where he talks about it. Supposedly you can even find some lyrics from GT when checking out Sterling - from an interview with, I believe, Rock Your Lyrics mag (online mag I think)

Anonymous said...

Interpret it anyway you want but it's still about Sauli

Anonymous said...

5:15, have you had the pleasure of talking to Adam about the meaning of GT. I think NOT. If by any chance it could be about one of Adams break ups, don't forget he has had several bf's, and there is nothing indicating that he has broken up with Sauli, just because Sauli has been working in Finland, which is soon coming to an end in May. Might be about Drake, or Cheeks, to name a couple.

Anonymous said...

When Adam was writing this song in Sweden, Sauli was seeing him every weekend.

JAK said...

Actually, it's about me! The age difference was just too much, so I called it off....I didn't realize I left his heart so desolate. :-(. Sorry...

Anne Marie said...

Poor Adam, you broke his heart JAK. Now he has to sing about you and your love together.

Anne Marie said...

JAK after you, might be why he can't bring himself to be with another woman, and so he turned to guys, LOL

Anonymous said...

Omg JAK you have me laughing out loud. I was wondering when you were going to come clean with the trolls.

JAK said...

Well, once you've had the best......you might as well move along.

Anonymous said...

Well, if it's Sauli Adam's back in that "Chokehold". I think not, I think it is just his way to create what pop music is looking for. Angst of love....supposedly a "co-writer....not sure...added these lyrics. ... https://plus.google.com/+MrSterlingFox/about
Quote:
Died last night in my dreams walking the streets of some old ghost town. I tried to believe in god and james dean but Hollywood sold out. Saw all of the saints lock up the gates; I could not enter. Walked into the flames, called out your name, but there was no answer.

Anonymous said...

@JAK,

Just loving it! You had me laughing out loud; even though it is true of course, but, you know how Adam likes to keep his private life private. Now you will be just another, "been there done that", just like so many others that came before you. Or, is he still seeing you secretly? Rumor has it!!!

"I bet you think this song is about you, don't you"?

Oh well, join the club! Ha, ha, ha!

Adam's GhostTown is going to be so full of wanna be's and exes; that he won't even recognize it anymore!

yada said...

JAK.... hahahahahahahaha!!!!

.... Ahhh, I needed that good laugh. You're a hoot and then some, mi' lady!

Thanks for the smile.... *Hugs* :)

Dee R Gee said...

Love ya, JAK! You know how to put a fun spin on a thread that is getting a little too serious. I think we're all so eager to hear GT that our imaginations are running wild.

Anonymous said...

If this Sterling is a co-writer; he seem completely out of line! Leaking. There must be some type of contract! I hope he gets into trouble if that is what he is doing! Hope this is not someone who is a problem for Adam's release!

Anonymous said...

He has a big ego; and out of line; 5 people are listed as co-writers including Adam! Another person trying to mess up Adam's roll out. Hope Management is looking in to this!

Anonymous said...

Hope Adam has short coattails, or none at all; so nobody can ride them!

Anonymous said...

Oddly enough, I also feel that the friendship with Sauli is something special and apart from friendships with other people. The work issue distance has been overcome by others and anytime Adam needs reassurance Sauli steps up.

yada said...

..... It does appear as if Sterling may be sharing lyrics to GT. (?) Perhaps he isn't and just sharing "a story" as he put it. It just LOOKS like it, it anyway (since he is stating that he wrote GT with Adam)... Even if he's not. His tweet says that GT is "a song I wrote with him" in reference to @adamlambert.....

Perhaps someone with Twitter will check with Shoshanna about it?

Anonymous said...

The Sterlng guy has only fifty followers; but still. Glad he is not being posted here. Publicity is what he seems to be seeking. Why not try to grab some of Adam's thunder! There are several names for people like him! Glad he is not getting any special headlines here!

Let him find his own fans. I don't think Adam has to worry. Just hope he is stopped from leaking any of Adam's songs!

Anne Marie said...

@6:13
So nice to hear someone say something nice about Sauli. He is a special friend of Adam's. He earns his own living, is really good looking, and has many of the same qualities and interests as Adam. These are two decent guys, as are many of Adams friends.

Anonymous said...

@6:13 PM

If what you say is true in your opinion; perhaps Adam steps in when Sauli needs reassurance also. I would think it would be a two way street. Why try to insinuate that Adam is always the needy one.

Adam has said a few years ago,
that people tend to tell him their problems and he has always been there to try and help a friend when he could. He said that sometimes people just need someone to listen to them!

We can all guess and pretend we know about Adam's private life, but we know nothing unless he tells us. We are not in his inner circle, and don't really know who he is with 365 days of the year! Thank Goodness!

Anonymous said...

I'm sure Warner and Max Martin are aware of what Sterling Fox is saying and don't have a problem with it or they would have stepped in already.

We have been used to months of secrecy. That doesn't mean that it will continue up until the release date.

Maybe it is all part of the roll out of the song and the parties involved have been released to begin speaking about it. Those who have heard it are tweeting about it. Adam's choice so far has been to tease us with tiny snippets.

Anne Marie said...

I am sure that Adam needs some one to listen to him sometimes too. No one was insinuating anything. As close as Adam and Sauli have been, they probably know each other better than any one else does. It's my own opinion that I think that they trust each other also, so that they are able to talk about personal things, that they might not with anyone else. Sauli has always kept a very tight lip about his relationship with Adam.

Anonymous said...

From what Sterling is saying, then Adams song is not a rock song, because Sterling said he was going to make it a rock song. Also to release it about the same time. As far as I have heard this has only just come to light, so might be that warner hasn't had a chance to do anything about it yet. It might not happen, or Sterling could be legal. We don't know the rules about such things. It's better to wait and see.

Anonymous said...

Sterling is also a writer on the song and all the legal stuff was contracted long ago. People need to calm down and let Adam's team handle the promo of Ghost Town.

Story time...My heart is in Ghost Town...

Bert was driving along a lonely stretch of road. Suddenly a road sign with arrows, caught his attention... >>Ghost Town.
Bert being the curious type, wanted to find out why it was named Ghost Town. He drove his beautiful white car into the road inlet which seemed nice and sunny, a little bumpy. Soon he got into the estate; he looked around...rows of neatly-lawned houses with spick and span driveways, vintage cars parked outside.
Bert drove on hoping to meet someone as he was feeling a little hungry and wanted some directions to a restaurant for a tasty meal. He looked left and right and he drove further into the estate.
Bert felt something strange about the whole place, neat rows of well-kept houses yet he could not see a single person walking along the roads. So he decided to park his car and got out to visit one of the homes. The doors were all ajar; Bert's first thought was the people here were very trusting and so he got in front of an artistically-painted blue house; looked in and called out: Hello! Hello! Is anyone there?... No answer...he walked in and still found no one. He walked up a red carpet to the upstairs rooms. Whoa! Bert was sensing something really out-of-this-world. He looked around, the house seemed well-kept, the beds all had clean bed-sheets, he even looked into the toilet, spankingly shiny.
Bert got back to his car and decided he would look elsewhere. Ahh finally...he found someone...sitting by a pond gazing intently into it. Bert got out and briskly walked towards the man; oh he was gazing at the lovely orange and white Koi fish swimming gracefully in the clear water. Bert walked up and greeted the well-attired gentleman: 'Good morning sir ! They sure look beautiful, don't they?'
The gentleman didn't respond, not even aware Bert was standing next to him. Bert then gave him a tap on his shoulder...'Whoa! What is that?'...Bert didn't feel anything ! as if the man was a hologram ! Bert knew something was quite different and got scared; right about turn...he ran back to his car. He was panting and sweating, not knowing why. He collected his composure and then a thought came to him...'Am I dead...' He pinched himself, well, he felt a sensation...Thank goodness! Bert murmured.
Bert had had enough...he drove desperately back to the road entrance, just a short distance away from which he drove in. But...he seemed to be driving round and round in circles, like trying to get out of a maze ! Bert stopped his car and sort of gave up. After calming himself, he gave it any go and lo and behold, the road-sign >>Ghost Town finally came into view. He drove off the estate and got back onto the main road with a deep sigh of relief.
Suddenly, Bert saw an ambulance further down the main road and oh my goodness! a white car got bashed in and he glared at the number plate...it was like his ! He looked again, someone was lying by the roadside...Bert thought the injured man looked like him ! Thank goodness, he was smiling and not badly hurt; the driver of the white car was soon taken away by the ambulance.
Well well well...Bert might have averted death but slipped into the >>Ghost Town, twilight realm. lwl!
At this moment, his car phone rang and a voice came on excitedly: 'Hey Bert, what happened to you...we have a date at the sushi bar, remember?'
'Sorry Saul...I got into a fix, I'll tell you about it...see you there in a jiffy.'
Saul was so happy to see Bert and that he was all right. During their tete-tete at the sushi-bar, Bert recounted his mysterious encounter in >>Ghost Town. Saul was all perked up and instantly asked Bert to take him there. Continue...

Lam-My said...

Soon both guys were on that lonely stretch of road; Saul was driving as Bert still seemed to be in a daze. When they came to the >>Ghost Town sign, Saul turned his car into the estate, just as Bert did earlier on. Saul parked his car in front of a row of neat, beautiful houses. Both guys walked along the pavements. Saul called out into a red house. 'Hello! Good morning! Anyone home...? No one replied; now Saul knew exactly what Bert was describing to him. They went on walking from house to house and Saul, a very determined fellow, called out at each and every seemingly vacated household. Saul being a very cautious person, sensed something really really weird about the whole place. He told Bert they should leave immediately. Saul drove back to the main road with the >>Ghost Town sign from where he came in. Well, what do you know...like Bert, Saul drove in a maze of roads and didn't seem to be able to reach the main road, oooh-la-la...
Bert and Saul were trapped in >>Ghost Town ! So do you think they eventually found their way out? As far as I'm concerned...not to worry...don't they always find their way? in, out, up and down and round about. I'm running out of steam...lol! Well, at least they have each other, even if it's in a strange place...perhaps paradise. lwl!

I am pretty sure that Adam Lambert is in no short supply of people that listens to him. He has an extended family that he has known since his early days in West Hollywood, men and women; some from high school. These people really love him. Terrance is an example of one of those long time family friends and confidents!

He also has the new friends that he have met in the last 6 years since Idol. New and old relationships, and special love and continued relationships with some, in different ways.

I guess it really is true, to know Adam Lambert is to love him!!!

Bless his beautiful spirit. Loved by fans and most who work with him!

Hellooo Kindred!
At least you responded unlike the >>Ghost Town folks...Hey perhaps get Saul to take you there and you can wave your magic wand and bring back all the people. lol! with your abundance of positive energy!
Thank you!! You give me energy of the sixth kind! empowering the sixth sense. lwl! You know, we do share some strange but warm kindredship. If I were to go to >>Ghost Town I would like to go with you! lol!

Lam-My said...

Kindred.....At least now, there are two people there...Ahh we'll try and stalk them lol! Actually, I might not want to get out. lol! I can look at the beautiful Koi fish all day and write poems. Also, many lovely houses to pick and choose from, stay in a different one every day. lol!
Kindred, if you want to make a movie...maybe call it 'Time Warp in Ghost Town' Thanks Kindred!

Hi Lam-My!:D
Yes I appreciate beautiful places and can
just look at them for hours forgetting the time totally! It's just my old bones need the excercise, I'm so ridiculously lazy these days.

This spring GT keeps our minds busy at least and when the music is actually here, we get to dance too. I can't wait and I'll hope for the best success always!

Time Warp in >>Ghost Town...

Saul drove up and down and round and round in a seeming maze of roads. Bert suggested they took a rest as that was what he did the last time and the >>Ghost Town sign-board suddenly appeared.
Saul, feeling very frustrated by now, agreed. They wallked hand in hand across the deserted land. Soon they came to the Koi pond. Bert noticed the same gentleman, still sitting on the bench and staring into the Koi pond. This time, he advised Saul to just leave him alone; in any case they would not get any response and wouldn't even be able to touch him, as he seemed not present at all.
Saul looked rather puzzled but listened to Bert's advice. Saul and Bert, both animal lovers especially Saul who loved caring for dolphins in a dolphin sanctuary...were entranced by the majestic grace of the myriads of Koi congregating in front of them in the pond. Saul had brought along some sushi actually for Bert and himself to eat by the pond. They sat by the edge and hand-fed the Koi which frantically snapped the sushi from their hands...Wow! never knew being trapped in a time warp could be such ecstasy.
Suddenly a rather big beautiful Koi, with a butterfly-shaped red patch on its head, swam up close and stared at Saul and Bert; then, it swiftly turned swishing its tail, splashing some water onto them. The red-butterfly Koi swam at great speed right across the pond and then turned left 90 degrees, came right back at Bert and Saul staring at them again. Saul having worked with dolphins seemed to understand what the Koi was signalling. He gestured to Bert and said: Let's go! And they got back to their car. Saul immediately drove in the direction indicated by the Koi to him.
Lo and behold...the >>Ghost Town sign was smack right up front. Saul stepped on the car accelerator and sped up the slope-path, leaving no chance it might evade him again. Their car at once hit the main road, screeching to a grinding halt just past the >>Ghost Town sign...Oooh-la-la!
Bert looked at Saul at how worried he was if he didn't make it out this time...he put his arms around him and kissed him passionately...ooooh lwl!
Well well...is there such a thing as a time warp...perhaps Saul and Bert got trapped in one and when the time was right, they found their way out.
Bert sang a line from his up and coming new song: 'Now I know my heart is Ghost Town...' Interpret it any way you like...
