2:18 hating on someone sounds even dumber. Go get your life.

Is this a joke? These lyrics sound alittle crazy.

I love these lyrics, real and truthful.

And what are you hungry for, Adam?

They make perfect sense to me.... don't we all try to banish that which invaded our sleep, our life , our well being. Have a feeling this song will be epic .

2:27 AM And you are about 10 yrs old? We have variable opinions here, which you apparently can't stand.

@2:18 AM ... your comment tells that you are either an immature adult or a child who hasn't experienced any of the pains that come with being an adult & realizing what true suffering is ... either way ... your day will come ... what goes around, comes around. As for the lyricss ... they sound very adult & not some 'bubble gum' words ... therefore NOT 'dumb' .... IMH(ADULT)O ...

Totally with you tess4ADAM. It takes life experience to be able to understand some deep lyrics.

This person posting apparently derogative comments everywhere doesn't look adult enough to control over her/his frustration in Adam. Whatever our guy did in her/his imaginary world to stir such bright emotions lol

I think the lyrics so far have been very thought-provoking and cryptic in an interesting way. Adam likes these kinds of introspective messages. (Let it be said, though, that he has also written and performed some great kick-ass, non-deep songs, too, and I'm guessing there is some of that on TOH as well.)

Adam is a thinker. He's smart. His songs often take a journey. I like the fact that his music sometimes takes some smarts on the part of the listener. He sings about things we all feel. Clearly, the reviewers who have heard GT LOVE IT! Stay tuned till the 21st.

The lyrics appear very personal to me and strangely addicting. Brilliant move from my point of view.

Better-er say this first: This is meant as a friendly post. I know I'm making generalizations. But the constant 'attack mode' present in almost every thread is so tiresome...

The short 1-2-3 line posters may belong to the younger generations, most of them think longer posts are not 'hip', not 'current', are 'silly granny stuff' (nobody does that in the net)...you get the picture. Most hassles and long threads here start from posts by these 1-3 liners... and they immediately get answered by people who are used to writing whole sentences, long stories, reasonings and clarifications. An obvious mismatch. Also a cause for many misunderstandings, people do not 'connect'.

The same goes for 'understanding' and 'listening' song lyrics. Age differences are visible here too. Doubt that young people today concentrate on more demanding lyrics... Most hits have these 1-3 liners as lyrics...Lol.

Age and life experience matter in everything. As do different times, different schooling systems, cultural backgrounds, are you ok with the digital age stuff etc etc. To meet and be on friendly tems in the net in an open to all blog is very difficult because of the things said above.

No doubt I belong to the 'silly granny group' (although sadly I'm nobody's granny). Lol.

Sorry for the long messy and incoherent post (and the typos).

I think these may be lyrics from another song that's been mentioned for TOH. There's a song called "Another Lonely Night" and they would fit perfectly for that ..

Are today's music listeners/buyers really interested in the lyrics of a song or is it about the beat, the melody, the sound overall? I hope that with Ghost Town that it is both that people want to hear from Adam. Then there is the video. So many of them today have no relevance to the song and its lyrics and as we have seen in the past, Adam's vids do tell a story that relates to the song. All this speculation from a few phrases we've heard and some whistling. I can't wait to actually hear this single and to judge for myself.

All these comments about a few lyrics from Ghost Town remind me of my days as a high school English teacher and having students analyze lines of poetry and song lyrics also. Is that what is going to happen with Adam's new song...analyzing every word as to its meaning, it relevance to his life experiences? Sometimes I just want to enjoy the music, the beat, and not delve into a deeper meaning. So I guess in about a week we will have some answers once the single is released and then all the reviews, comments and I am sure criticisms will begin.

Why are these lyrics being examined as coming from Adams life and feelings? Someone else wrote them.
