In Billboard's recent interview with Adam Lambert for the Pop Shop Podcast, the singer discussed his upcoming new album The Original High (due out June 16), his new single "Ghost Town," his process of finding a new sound in Sweden and why he ultimately rejected an 80's covers project. Another topic that came up during the interview (but didn't make the podcast) was Lambert's upcoming touring plans -- which will hinge on the general reaction to his forthcoming third studio effort. When asked if he was going to head out on the road in support of The Original High (due out June 16), the entertainer replied, "Yeah, if people like this record!"
"There was a couple of freestanding (American) dates," Lambert says, "but unfortunately… I mean, you know, it's common knowledge Trespassing wasn't quite the commercial success that we all had hoped it would be, which would have supported a tour. I'm really, really thankful that the fans ate it up, and that we debuted at No. 1 on the (Billboard 200) chart. That was lovely. I stand by the album."

Let's make this happen. Buy the album! Sales is important!
I want Adam to have this tour sooo bad. I hope they release more singles and do lyric videos so fans can learn the words more quickly.
I really hope GT has at least several more strong singles on it. The only way to get a solo tour is to allow people to HEAR THE ALBUM and support the music by buying it. TP deserved that. I know Adam's core fans are buying the album like crazy, but newcomers to Adam will have to hear and like the music, too, before they'll buy it. I want a solo tour SO BAD! Hope the momentum stays high right up and after the release of TOH.
I am with all you guys I need to see Adam live again. Seeing him live in 2010 was so awesome. I really love the song Ghost Town
Another solo tour would be awesome, of course but you can't make people buy Adam's music. If you push people to do it, they may be resentful and refuse. As they say, 'You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink.'
