Over the weekend, a few lucky journalists got to listen to Adam Lambert’s new single, “Ghost Town,” ahead of its scheduled premiere on April 21, and so far, the reviews are glowing. For example, according to SugarScape’s Carl Smith, “Ghost Town” gives Hilary Duff’s “Sparks” “some competition for 2015’s best whistle.” I
like the sound of that! He goes on to proclaim that the track has
“summer smash written all over it.” Wow. At this point, to say that I’m
“looking forward” to hearing “Ghost Town” would be a massive, massive
understatement — I can barely contain my excitement.

ReplyDeleteThanks for posting the link. Great review.
ReplyDeleteDid you guys read what Hilary Duff said about Adam. Was so great. Read it somewhere, can't remember where and when. But she was really loving and appreciating Adam's talents. Or maybe I have dreamt it all... ha ha!
ReplyDeleteMaybe one of the @Admins could try and track it?
I hope that's true about Hillary Duff. When I see and read of her in media, she seems quite grounded. I did have a little anxiety, I will admit, about her Whistle element in her single "Sparks". Nobody really talked about it here on this site. Her new album was also produced in Sweden btw. Hillary said that the Swedes have their fingers on the pulse of current pop music. Interesting. In any event, lots of new Adam news today to eclipse any concerns about whistling in two singles slated for release. Actually, I think "Sparks" might have already been released for radio. Whatever, I'm not ready... just thought it was interesting.
ReplyDelete*I'm not worried (not "ready") :)
