Wow, we San Franciscans love us some Adam! We posted an interview earlier from an SF station, and now another one in town, Alice 97.3 — actually my favorite radio station here and so supportive of Adam. He was one of their featured artists at their annual "Summerthing" concerts in Golden Gate park back in 2012 — see one of the many meet-&-greet photos above (not me). They promo'd that they're going to have some special artists at this summer's event, I'm praying they're inviting Adam back.
Enjoy the interview with Alice's DJ Jayn (which we can't embed, hence the link below), who also wrote the following on their website:
"The new track “Ghost Town” is so freaking HOT..."
And here is Alice's video interview with Adam from backstage at the 2012 Summerthing (again, can't embed):

Loved it! Jayne (the interviewer) is quite a Glambert and was genuinely thrilled. Loved their First-World-Problem discussion. Radio Alice is probably my favorite radio station in the SF Bay Area along with Star 101.3 which also interviewed Adam today. Can't wait to hear GT on our radio!!!
GREAT interview!! Good info from Adam on his insightful perspective behind the record title - TOH - and, yep Gabi... His "real world problem" ;-D. Nice to get some explaination behind that one, too. What a sheer delight he is.....
I also like hearing a common thread of questions from the radio interviewers about the meaning behind Adam's songs.... GT.... They seem genuinely intrigued .... And wanting the scoop on what the song is really about. Fairly meaty inquiries...
Also quite respectful to Adam as an artisan, I feel. I sense a real landmark in Adam's evolvement as an artist, even with the style of interviewing he is receiving so far.... Probably the best interviews about his music (and less sensationalism about his private life) he's been personally receiving as a whole in his career thus far, IMO. I can sense a difference in these interviews of this era.... Adam's time with Queen has been incalculably viable and valuable to his cred within the industry, it seems.....
To me, I'm hearing that these radio folks genuinely want to dig in to his music....and I love that. So happy for Adam! :)))
*oops - I meant "first world problem"!
Seriously I love Adam's laugh/giggle, I laugh every time I heard that.
Unfortunately, the new interview buffers continuously for me. I may have better luck later. It sounds like it's a good one!
