Wonder if Adam will squeeze 2 songs into his 10 minutes, he gets. I am sure it would have been longer, if his album was out. But hey, he is there with well known names, and this is huge publicity. WTG Adam, break a leg.

Me, too. I thought they would all get about the same amount of time. Well, as you say, Anne Marie, at least he's there with some big names. Hope he crams two songs into ten minutes. A few of the others don't have much longer than that. Good publicity, though.

He was added almost at the last moment, and I think it's pretty awesome that's he's going to be singing there..

He'll give a boost to 'Ghost Town's visibility and recognition, promo his new soon-to-be-released album 'The Original High', and impress the heck outta those gathered to hear the other performers.. AND remind people of just who he is!

I like to think of his performance as a promo "coup d' etat" actually!!!

Ok I'll try to look at it as a more positive thing. Instead of unfair that he only gets ten minutes. Lol i hope the crowd appreciates him. Can't wait to hear about it!!

Sitting here patiently waiting for the audio streamer to start just for Adam's set :))) He'll slay them all in l0 minutes, no doubt about it. I'm hoping he manages to get 3 songs in the time allotted. Great publicity one way or the other...his name is getting out there and he's making lots of appearances whether it's introducing other acts (giving everyone a chance to drool over his hotness <3) or doing live performances (and of course many radio interviews). I think so far his team is doing a great job of promos for Ghost Town and TOH!

3:25 pm, he was in Vegas last night and took the read eye to be able to be in NY for this. Must be important to him, even if he was a last min addition as glitzylady say.

I bet a whole lot of artist would love to have that spot. Warner Music probably pulled strings to get our man in. He may have taken a little time from someone else. If they did not feel that he was worth it; they would not have went along with the request; if that is what is happened. Maybe the group giving it took a real liking to Adam and his upcoming album and his devoted fan base and said let's try to get Adam. It is worth every minute of travel for him to be their tonight; even if it was just for five minutes. Among all these names that already have albums out, I think. Or at least already radio established! Even the entertainers there will take notice that Adam Lambert is there! WOW!!!

Just ask; and you shall receive when it comes to Mr. Adam M. Lambert; if even for one moment in time. It is a moment that will last forever!!

I saw from a twitter list on another Adam Fansite that he went on almost an hour early. I saw an IG of a bit of the performance of GT. His second song was WWFM.

It's not that you're mistaken, but geez, this not unusual for artists, and it doesn't have to be painted so bleakly. Perhaps you are not intending to paint it bleakly, but rather directly and plainly, for the readers here (and tbh, I would understand what you were going for), but dang, a little positivity goes a long way. I would think your purpose was to help enlighten readers here if you didn't portray Adam's schedule like it was so unusual and different from many current acts and the sort of promo and rounds they make!!

Adam was put on earlier, and from the snippets I heard he was on fire. He did 3 songs, WWFM, GT, & EITN. He obviously got this gig a little late, but I bet Warner had a lot to do with him being there at all. This was great, since his album is not even out yet. Great promo, which you must understand is all that he is doing at this point. Doing a promo with A-listers, WOW.

@4:31, if you want to lay out your radio business credentials for us, that would be illuminating. I have not worked in radio in years, and even then it was only peripherally, but as a keen observer of the current state and business status of Top 40 and Pop music, I will offer my observations that is not unusual, with these types of events, for artists to be slated late, to be squeezed in, etc., not by a long shot, and it does not necessarily speak to the value any given performer is given in the eyes of the event PTB. Adam is not a headliner, absolutely you are correct, but other artists there are huge right now are there, and one could argue that this venue and event is beneath them, but because they are in the BUSINESS of promoting and selling music, I am sure they, and their teams, do not see it that way, they are there to promote their latest project, like everybody else.

Now, I want to get back to the good news, EITN live performance, excellent, hope we get more than just an IG of it! Fingers crossed, but either way, really cool!

The streamer listed , must not have been prepared for him to come on early. They were only going to do Adam, and they didn't even turn it on.

4:36 here. Well, my fellow 24/7 site user, perhaps you see the glass half empty and I see it as half full, whatever works for you dude, whatever gets you to sleep at night. Once again, it's not that your 4:48 statement, well the second line anyway, is incorrect, it's just that it's so glass half empty, where as I am a glass half full kind of person, but to each his own and all that. Your first statement @ 4:48, I am not so sure that is based in fact actually, but I am not one to spend my time on these sites listing out all of Adam's moments where he did succedd, wildly so, in the years since Spring of 2009, others can do that for you if you wish. I'm going to get offline now. Again, I do see the merit in your comments, and I don't think you are a troll, I just think you're more about lemons where I am more about lemonade, and that's fine, whatevs, have a good night.

Oh, and hey other readers here, I don't want to tell anyone what to do, but perhaps we should just move on & maybe I was wrong to even reply to 4:48... I am not going to answer 4:48 again, I promise :), and this thread and this performance is really great news!!, maybe we should just revel in the positivity of it. Just a thought, I know I did what I am suggesting we shouldn't continue with, but 4:48 was addressing me directly, so I replied to 4:48 directly, I don't want to derail the whole thread, which is really cool news! :)

I don't know who was behind the camera, but they got snippets of all three songs, I watched it and Adam was great. This was only a promo for him and he was so lucky to get on the list. Warner has done a great job of getting him in all over the place.

I am quite sure there are musicians and singers would have given their eye teeth to be one of the introducers at last nights show in Las Vegas. I am so glad that he also has Queen coming up in September, they are so good for his career.

So girlphenom was too good to sit through other artists and missed Adam performing. All she got was EITN from the parking lot.

There's nothing to complain about. Three songs in the time alloted to him and Adam sounded great. Getting to perform with other artists is good and just like Kelly Clarkson, baby and all, it meant enough to Adam to get the red-eye to NY for this event. Adam seems to be working these promos hard, interviews and all, so hope that this roll out is successful.

Well, everybody, very good news; apparently Adam took them to church this Sunday! From all reports he slayed it! From what I saw the crowd went crazy and he looked gorgeous.

Saw a tweet someone posted on ATOP from the Opera singer Eric McKeever, "As an opera singer, I love when a pop star can really sing, Adam Lambert just ripped it up!#KTUporia". Thought it was very a very interesting tweet to share, for those who might not have seen it; hope Adam sees it! I know it is not the first opera singer to have commented on Adam; have heard others through the years.

I also read from someone possibly in the know; that the reason that Adam was added at the last minute, was because radio had become so interested and he was starting to get impressive radio play. They said these events are planned months ahead; and if Warner initially tried to get him on as many other artist's labels probably tried; did not matter. The radio play is the most important; it's a business and that's the way it is. This person said that apparently Adam had very impressive radio play numbers and interest from the radio stations he visited. Yes, our Adam is a very impressive person; and so are his fans! Well fans you helped to do it again; be proud. Continue to support him as much as you can; as you see; every bit helps.

It was so funny, when I followed the twitter feed for the event; it seemed like every other tweet was about Adam. The station had to keep inserting other artist's names asking people how they felt about them. Some peeps are reporting that Adam's set was the best of the night so far.

Kelly Clarkson slayed also; and she looked great; love her singing. She seems to be a very sweet likeable person too. Hope she and Adam had a chance to chat! Two great alumni from IDOL. So happy for and proud of Adam he really had people jumping during Evil in the Night. Can't wait to go see him in his own concert. Hope we can get some good videos of tonight.

Adam's voice was in fine form tonight. ..He sounded absolutely fantastic!! It doesn't surprise me that his set was short; with his new album about to drop in 2 weeks, most of the songs aren't released yet so that limits him a little. He was able to put in a plug for the album I heard. :))

6:17 pm will be called a troll but they are correct, there isn't a lot of radio play yet. GT is very slowly crawling up the charts. Hopefully it can hang on another couple of weeks until the album promo starts when it should have a lot more visibility and move up the charts must faster then.

That is some very heavy handed moderating. 6:17 didn't say anything that isn't true and they didn't sound like a troll. 38 on the top 40 chart is the bottom of the chart. But he is on the chart.

DEAR ADMIN,
Can we please get written rules of what is grounds for being deleted? Because I don't think any rules are being followed and things are deleted on a whim. There is no consistency. Glitzylady deletes frequently and Admin Fan rarely deletes anything. Please address this issue for us.

glitzylady, with all due respect, I think you deleted more than was reasonable. This deleting makes me feel like I can never say anything here that is less than 100% rainbows and unicorns. I thought this was supposed to be a place where we could express our opinions.

I have just finished reading through all the comments and was really worried about the comments made to 4:38, I am 4:38, and I was concerned as to what I had done, then I saw there are 2 4:38s, and there were a lot of comments deleted. Whew thought I had said something wrong.
@6:39 I read your comment about the opera singer, it was good, are you sure it was deleted.

Just for a point of interest, Adam got just over 17 minutes, not 10. He might have told them or asked, if he could sing 3 songs. All I know is he was just great, and really gave his all. I hope he was happy with it, sometimes these outside arenas don't have the best speakers. But the crowd who did listen to him gave him a lot of applause and whistles.

It looked like a nice size crowd. I would have loved to see Kelly and PitBull in addition to Adam.
