The band were rumoured to be one of the acts lined up for this year, but that never came to fruition, mainly because Adam Lambert is, of course, a solo artist in his own right and is spending this year focusing on his own music with the release of his album, The Original High.

Quick, quick check, I don't remember whether Queen ever played at Glastonbury, "the music and performing arts festival", my "friend "wiki says no.
No wonder that , now, with a new front man, finally accepted by the English media, Brian would have liked "to headline Glastonbury with Adam Lambert." Just take a look at the select 2015 lineup!
Rock in Rio is huge but Glastonbury is home.

I think it is in July, not sure. I don't think Queen has ever done it. This might be in Brian's bucket list, now that he has a great front man, and obviously he is sticking to his guns, about Adam being his only front man. It would be another great coup for Adam, some huge stars go there.
Hope Adam can work it in with Queen! I love their chemistry & hope they will continue to play together whenever Adam's time allows. The Queen tour was the best I've seen and was a great benefit to Adam, polishing him & having the opportunity to be among and learn from legends. Brian May's exquisite guitar following Adam's majestic notes was a lesson in musical, vocal perfection. Roger Taylor not being over looked either. Adam deserves to be backed by musicians of Queen's caliber.
