In what ways has my music changed from the first album?

It keeps getting better and betterer.
Love his "new" sound to be more intimate without all the glam character. So many facets to love while he evolves. I am evolving with him, and find his generous instinct to "whisper in our ear" so refreshing and honest. His whisper sounds great! And "now I know", Underground is about addictions. Adam sharing that info. makes that song even more intense and meaningful. 3 dimensional our guy!
I have to admit that i was disappointed when I first heard GT, and commented here about that, because I felt the whistle and pauses of sound without his voice left me wanting MORE of his voice. BUT, I have come to love the album and many of the songs on it. GT is still not my favorite, but I definitely love many of the other songs. Am hoping 'The Original High' is his next single. Not sure what my favorite album is ... maybe TP? There's so much emotion on the back half of that album. Ah well, each to their own opinion, right?
I have to express my regret that this blog doesn't have yet a thread dedicated to The Original High Album, the posts on the album/songs are scattered all over the blog, difficult to reread/comment on them if you missed them.
An interesting topic, does change mean progress? Not in all cases. In poor Lady Gaga's case, certainly not, when her music/lyrics became more spiritual, almost incomprehensible, vids loaded with all kinds of artistic references, people , listeners, critics turned to other musicians' simpler messages.
I think that Adam's album has, at least, 2 songs, original, unique, innovative that can be thought as steps to progress,Lucy and The Light. The former is a wonderful progression from pop passages to classic rock ones and back to pop.I confess, I'm dreaming of Adam and Brian playing it on a stage in front of thousands and thousands of fans. The latter has an extremely appealing melodic line, a more natural production and , oh , I am the light line. The light, scientifically speaking, is an enigma to me, but I know that without it all the beauties of this world couldn't be revealed. I'm sure the lyricists had the idea of spiritual light in mind , too. All, dust of the ground that ignites the spark, too weird to live, too rare to die , all have a spiritual light inside us, love, kindness, generosity... .
I'm so anxious to hear them and others live.
