I've been dreaming of a R & R album since Idol.......my 2 daughters would become his fans immediately and I could stop nagging them.

LOL me to JAK. My girls listen to the "Rock" radio station and are still into their 80 s music. Though they do agree Adam can sing. (Nice of them, I guess)

@ jaycee 14....My daughters also think Adam is a powerhouse singer......they just don't like his music.
With exceptions of course.....the power ballad Time for Miracles and possibly another one or two. Like many potential fans who loved Adam on Idol, they expected his first album to be rock. After all, we had our hearts pounding and ears ringing after hearing him sing covers of Led Zeppelin, Wild Cherry, Rolling Stones, Queen, Kiss, U2, Journey, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Foghat and Steppenwolf. I think his first album was a shock for the fans expecting that looked forward to rock album and many drifted away. It's too bad.

P.S. To me you'll always be Jadam NZ.....;-)

I'd like you to read my post as it is , observations of a lifelong rock lover, not as pompous, ex cathedra -like thoughts. Like your daughters , I've also liked...for a while, Adam to become a rock star, Glam rock era was short, but, I think , very rewarding. Queen , who, btw ,have covered a very large area of genres, from hard rock to disco, has been , can I call it, a huge opportunity and our Adam, whom we can't suspect of stupidity, has grabbed it instantly. Adam is still carrying a painful "stigma", shamefully in the rock world it is a stigma, Freddie was only a "suspect", Rob Halford of Judas Priest was "forgiven".Rock is a men's world, macho men, the rock fans look at their idols as sexual role models, too, think of Plant, Jagger, Dickinson and so many others. And Adam is aware of all these. My only hope is that some time, in the future , he'll be playing pop-rock, something close to what Elton John, George Michael, Ryan Tedder etc, play.

@ Pan......Sounds good to me! Ryan Tedder is a favorite of mine, he understands Adam's potential and he delivered Sleepwalker, I love that song.
