Just read that Adele just released her new album. She is obliterating everyone else on the charts, I'm sure. I'm so glad we have gotten ALN over one million. Keep it up, guys!
For sure Adele will eclipse many of the chart toppers and set new records as far as stats. Like Adam she has released some singles from the album before its debut and the "Hello" video has over 70 million hits in just 4 days! A new record. If you have not seen it, the video is beautifully produced in black and white, and there is a strong story line. Her voice is tremendous, and I am with others " great voice, OK song". My favorite comment - "over 70 million hits for a music video with no tits and a**".Good for her!
I liked the feel of Adeles video, very retro kinda like The Avicii video. The song is just ok but she sings the hell out if it. And... Not a bare tit or ass in sight!
Just watched (or fastforwarded through most) the MTV awards. Was so annoyed and jealous (Sorry) when I saw Tori Kelly with Andrea Boticelli (spelling?) These people must have their heads you know where, they have missed so many great opportunities to show Adams beautiful voice off. Bloody Beiber is winning everything. Why? why? why. I know its the young ones. We and Adam have worked so hard. Sorry rant and bad grace over. Back to appreciating all the good things that have gone Adams way., its just been a bit tough lately.
I only watch the Awards shows if Adam is on; yea, hard to believe Adam has not got any MTV Award after 6 years that we have followed him. But the strange thing is I don't actually get too uptight about it, simply because Adam is a class of his own and that is quite a basketful. Also, his numerous International Awards are testimony to his special singing/voice talent. As for J Bieber...he raked in a lot of money for MTV and so it's quite fair he gets the Awards.
Jaycee Jadam... It's okay, I used to feel exactly like you that Adam is not getting his rightful share of the US Awards; it's almost like they don't think he's good enough. But after a long time following Adam and have a rough idea how the industry works, I think definitely, inputs/earnings for the company are the determiners for Awards. I mean any company, be it music, film or any product would reward the workers/celebrities who rake in the most for the sustenance of the company; they depend on them to make it big.
It's so true that the awards shows reward those who make the most money and who are the popular. Talent is not a factor in who wins. That does not mean that talented people never win. They do sometimes. But I often feel that the awards-givers must be totally deaf if they continually ignore Adam's talent. They know who he is. They've heard his voice. But unless he sells multi-millions, he doesn't count. It's got to be so frustrating for him. He knows he's worthy. The Grammys are supposed to be the awards that truly recognize talent. But event that isn't true anymore. All I now is that I'm going to continue to support Adam. Period.

Adam's "Ghost Town" on DWTS. Only a cover by their band and singer(s), but still fun to hear his song.
So cool to.hear that GT was on DTWS! I don't watch it anymore, but still happy. I sure wish Adam could have sung it himself on the show.

Thank you Lam-my. I have taken deep breaths and am fine now. I have also found out how to spell Bocelli's name correctly. LOl.
