Quotes from the much longer article/interview (go to the embedded link above to read the entire article):

ADAM Lambert says fans can tell when stars are trying to be someone else. “The public aren’t stupid and they can smell bulls**t from a mile away,” Lambert said. “Authenticity is really important. If you are not being true to yourself, people are like, ‘meh’.

Longevity is his main game. “I just want to be able to keep working, that’s pretty much all I am asking for. Yes we are in the music industry and it gets competitive and there’s chart positions and of course it feels good to have a hit but I just want to be able to do what I love for a living and keep it going and artistically explore new things.”

Love Adam's realistic perspective on fame and fortune. He wants longevity. Big hits are frosting on the cake. I hope with all my heart that we see him performing for a very long time.

I want Adam to perform for a long time, never to quite. I love being on the roller costar ride with Adam. I have never been a fan of anyone except the Beatles, but now I am a huge Adam Lambert fan. Adam is always in my heart. He is simply the best of the best.

He seems to have a healthy attitude toward his profession and life in general, and I'm sure that his family and close friends help with that. Adam is one of the lucky ones. He has been able to make a more than decent living out of his passion and reach financial stability already. I too hope for him to be able to keep fueling that purpose and passion for a long time as it is "The Original High" for him, especially when on stage. To make his life complete, I hope for Adam to find fulfilling companionship/love at some point in his life. As he says, everybody is longing for that.

Now....if that ultra sexy knee picture wasn't this distracting (love that look!), I could focus on the article more :)
