I think a good part of the planet was praying for the people of Paris yesterday. Sadly, a good part was rejoicing at the fear and sorrow they caused.

Sadly, mankind had gone insane.. I wrote this many years ago and as depressing as it is I fear it not far from the truth:
I looked at insanity and it looked back at me.
It looked so ordinary not horrid or diseased.
I ask it please to speak its name,
But it slyly held its tongue,
Then looked at me with haunted eyes and misery yet unsung .
It came a little closer and bade me take it's hand,
But I saw inside its blackend heart and prepared to make a stand,
Was then I recognized it like letters in the sand...
I'd know it name all along
It was the plight of man .
