Wow! I must have missed this one before. I LOVE this version of Aftermath! It works perfectly with this upbeat style. Don't get me wrong. I love the slow, tender original. But this one turns it into a barn-burner and really gets everyone moving. Good choice, Adam!
This is a song which is meant to get everyone thinking and not moving. I hate this and Aftermath was always ons of my favourites.
I know it's ADAM's song & ADAM's prerogative to change it anyway he wants but I'm an old school gal & I LOVE his original versions ... I don't need his ballads to be upbeat ... I LOVE them just the way they are ... they are like lullabies for me in their original form. JMO .... I'll just keep listening to them the way ADAM first sang them ...
