Guess that was the only good thing Adam could say about Gaga's tribute. That said it all. Still the classy gentleman.
Anne Marie, you took the words right out of my mouth as I was just thinking that very exact thing. Although I love Nile and GaGa, that tribute fell very flat for me and perhaps Adam too.
Been listening to my city's talk radio this morning. The call-ins have been split on Gaga's Bowie tribute. Love or hate. I like Gaga well enough, but I would have loved to see Adam do it.
It would have been great to have Adam do the tribute. But not THAT tribute! It was just too ,hectic -- too jam-packed... to be effective. It was almost frantic!
Adam's twitter comment on Gaga's Bowie tribute was clever. He said it clearly by not saying it. I think it was a very frantic, soulless performance and Adam too must have felt a strong disconnect. Bowie deserved better.
Too bad ADAM couldn't have co-performed with Gaga ... then it wouldn't have seemed so 'meh' ... don't shoot ... JMHO!! Maybe ... ah! never mind ...

I thought Lady Gaga's performance at the Grammys was OK but (off topic), I preferred her version of the National Anthem at the Super Bowl which was outstanding.
