INTRO TO THE ARTICLE/INTERVIEW: Interview/article by Alan Scully
""American Idol" alum Adam Lambert has been a moving target musically over the course of his three solo albums. Each of those albums has had a distinct musical personality. His 2009 debut, "Let Me Entertain You," was a mix of classic rock with pop, electronic music and plenty of modern production touches. His second album, 2012's "Trespassing," emphasized more of a synthetic, funky and dance-oriented side. On his new album, "Original High," Lambert has eased back on some of the flamboyance of the first two albums, delivering a mix of ballads and more assertive songs that show a bit darker and introspective side, while still offering plenty of hooky pop melodies to sweeten the package. Lambert also has a new label, Warner Bros. Some might argue that a music career can benefit from continuity from album to album, but that's not what Lambert wants out of his career. "I think one of the things I've learned about show business is you've got to keep the audience guessing," he says in a phone interview before his concert Sunday at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center. "You want to surprise them with things."
Selected Adam Lambert quote, regarding his newest album "The Original High":

Selected Adam Lambert quote, regarding his newest album "The Original High":
"I think I got such a spoiled choice of music when I was on the road with Queen, being the most flamboyant I'd ever been on stage. And rightly so, that's sort of the expectation," Lambert says. "I think when it came time to work on this solo project, I wanted to just do something that was unexpected, that was still me, but was a different side of me than maybe people had seen much of in the past."

Again...clever headline and very telling how his image is changing. Adam has moved on from "openly gay" and "Idol runner-up".
poor journalism when you get the name of the album wrong - "Let Me Entertain You" ??
@choons
It was an unfortunate typo that was corrected further on down the article if you take a look.. I felt the article was very well put together and I certainly forgive that one incorrect album title, an "oops" though it was!!! .. Otherwise it was well researched and respectful to Adam, in my opinion, and worthwhile to read.. ..
You're absolutely right, it was a great article.
I enjoyed this article, too. It covered a lot of ground and showed that the writer had done his homework (with the exception of the album title slip which got fixed). We've all read so many articles and interviews about Adam, but it never gets boring, at least not to me.
