OT, but I just had to include this: Just browsed through my Chicago Tribune this morning (hard copy) and found a good article about the Idol finale written by Associated Press writer Lynn Elber. Her article mentioned a slew of AI contestants from its whole run. But, to my astonishment, not ONE mention of Adam. KC. CA and JH are mentioned as major alums, of course. But I could not believe he wasn't even mentioned. I know he will not be on the finale, but he did have his own featured appearance a few weeks ago. Adam has such huge cred from that show. He has one of the strongest solo careers. It just ticked me off that his name wasn't even mentioned. I went Elber's website and the article was there among others. I could have left her a comment, nicely worded, of course, but I chose not to. Sorry for my rant, but I just had to vent here a little. Adam is the only Idol to have been on the show every year since his own year. And on and on. Sigh.

Not to mention the fact that he made 10 MILLION dollars last year!!! Vent away, DRG.....;) xo

Ah!! What does some Chicago clueless know about American Idol or ADAM!! She probably only took the names she heard of or maybe it was one of her kids. The Important thing is that CHICAGO FANS heard of ADAM & THEY all LOVED him at his latest concert ... go on Ytube ... THOSE are the reviews I care about ... not some clueless columnist from the Windy City!! Take it with a grain of salt ... Light 'n Love

Outlaw, I agree that the fans are the most important thing when it comes to supporting an artist. Elber probably isn't from Chicago. She's an AP syndicated columnist. Might not be an AI viewer at all. Just bugged that Adam's name wasn't even mentioned when he is one of the show's biggest successes.

@DeeRGee hmmmm but you COULD send her a note, kindly worded, and inform her, not just of Adam's success, but of the billions of Glamberts .... now we all know her name : )))
