Adam always said this was the concert that made a special connection between him and Queen. Indeed Adam was incredible at this concert and the ending of Who wants to live forever is epic.
Queen and Adam literally "stole the show"....according to the reviews... along with Elton John. They just blew everyone else away!!!! Quality is impossible to keep down...the cream always rises to the top.
Queen and Adam have admitted that they discovered a rapport that was undeniable during the iHeart Radio Festival. That, along with a public demand that they should tour together, was the trigger for the monumental tours they've been doing since then.
I've often wondered if they would be touring now if they hadn't performed so successfully at the iHeart Radio Festival. Thank goodness they did!
Oh! Yes!! This was the beginning of a long & successful collaboration & the most enjoyable ride I have ever been on!! I hope it goes on indefinitely & that I'll be here to watch it!! ROCK ON!! QAL!!
This was the first QAL when Adam being very respectful of Freddie Fans, did not mind his name not mentioned on the show; but shown only on the credits with Queen.
I recall describing his butterfly-collar coat and those fiery notes; Brian tripping daintily behind, accompanying him on the extension stage. And that was when I saw their unusual stage chemistry; I described it as father chasing his precocious son...till today.

When Adam went to that glory note, I always levitated through the ceiling! He NAILED it! That performance proved that Adam was worthy of his place with Queen. They knew it. The public knew it. They demanded more. It was perfect.
My Revised poem IHeartAdam / IHeartRadio Las Vegas 2013
Decked in full black, soft shirt and tight pants To crank up a night of grand glam Who Wants To Live Forever...his vocals Touch the limit with powerful God-given intrinsic Brian, visibly awe-struck Roger slams his drums and cymbals Stoking Adam's ethereal voice into the ether As he ascends, wraps it up with... We Will Rock You! Walking like a model on the catwalk On stage, he turns, his back, a slim silhouette Brian and Roger...they watch his every step When Adam unleashes those whale of a wail I peek at the chandelier...Crash! lwl! He sings his heart out, bares his innermost emotions That's basically how he forges connections with his audience Yea, A Crazy Little Thing Called Love We share, fearless, honest, he dares Ta-dum...Enter Starchild on Glee, what will it be A nemesis or a benign game-changing pragmatist Whichever way the wind blows, he's the Artist Who raises the bar so feverish, none can reach Making it look so easy... don't be deceived He grapples the bull by its horns...you just don't see it!

This is my all time favorite Queen + Adam collaboration. His vocals spot on and he looked massively sexy the entire time.
I loved their matching outfits, too. Hot Hot Hot!

I think this was the sexiest, best Adam look ever! And those vocals!!
