Thanks for the clarification, glitzylady. I checked out that link...some interesting studies of Adam to be found there....
Portraiture is such a demanding art....the end product has to REALLY look like the subject! The one above certainly does...even incomplete. The artist obviously intends for that to be the "finished" product. It works, as is!
In Stockholm when he sang Bicycle Race Adam getting flowers thrown at him. What a wonderful gesture from the Swedes audience!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tj2xE2bDQl0
In any case, the artist is very talented. I would love to have a print of the above "study".
My High School Art Teacher, many years ago, was a very popular portrait artist. He had the uncanny knack of capturing the "essence" of a subject...brilliant. He always called them "Studies".

Am I to understand that this is Adam's OWN drawing/work? Looks to be identified that way. If so, he's even more artistic than I realized.
Well Adam, looks like you've got a fall-back career! How nice! Can't wait to see the finished product....you'd better show it!
He's gotta nice touch, guys.
Adam isn’t the artist who drew this. He apparently liked it and reposted it on his own Instagram page. He credited it in the description.
This is the artist’s Instagram page.

Thanks for the link, glitzy. This artist really has an eye for the essence of Adam!

How nice!!
This is going to be an amazing picture! It already has his essence! Can't wait for the finished product.
Magiclady...I believe this is intended to be the "finished" work. The artist has already captured the ESSENCE, as you say, of Adam.
It's quite effective this way, isn't it? Completing it entirely couldn't make it any more "Adam", or more interesting, than it is now, IMO.
I guess we'll find out sooner or later whether or not this is the finished work.
