When I was in school/convent, at catechism class, Father Brijea, Father Abriel (French priests), Sister Marie (Thai nun/Thai princess) and Sister Aloysious (Indian nun), taught us a lot about the lives of Saints. Strangely, St Patrick was rarely mentioned other than his name; so don't know much about St Patrick.
I used to believe everything they taught...now I think of the concepts of Catholicism in a much wider perspective such as incorporate science, evolution, reality into it; it makes more sense and more real as I think God is real. Perhaps God is a very powerful Energy and if one can tap into that Energy, it changes the heart, mind and soul regardless what religion...the core/centre still boils down to love, respect, humility, giving of oneself to others. Saint Mother Teresa, Nobel Peace Prize Winner says: 'Yes, give but give until it hurts' Notice she uses 'but' not and...very emphatic and difficult, but Dads and Moms know how to do this instinctively, unconditionally to their children. That's why the people of Calcutta call her Mother Teresa. She hears Jesus' plea all the time 'I Thirst'. She also said something remarkable befitting of our modern time...the poorest of the poor are not those without food or shelter, rather the poor in spirit, no love.
Happy Saint Patrick's Day Ireland! Your Patron Saint!
Actually, I used to watch almost every tv/online episode of 'Ancient Aliens'; it helped open my mind, inject reality into religion as they explore and compare ancient worlds, different beliefs/religions with similar/overlapping historic proofs/findings/substantiation. Seek and you shall find ... Knock and it shall open unto you. These lines are embedded in my brain. lwl!
Lam-my, what an inspirational comment you wrote. It is so important in our complicated world for us to stay upbeat and to help each other out with the words that come out of our mouths and hearts, and, especially words of the pen! Saint Patrick's Day has been a lot of fun here in Arizona - great corn beef and cabbage in a lot of the restaurants and bars and, of course, a lot of beer flowing. I moved to Arizona 18 years ago from Chicago, and, believe it or not, in Chicago, Illinois, every year on Saint Patrick's Day, they dye the beautiful Chicago River GREEN! It is so amazing to see the boats out on the green river. Well, my green Irish eyes have really been smiling today - a lot of fun with my friends - and, now, I will close my evening with your inspirational comments. Lady From The White House
Our Adam has a brand new theme! OMG-it appears it's GREEN! Razor sharp fashion so very keen. Kaleidoscope Adam, change it up, I deem. He challenges his Glamberts, each occasion, it seems. He shocks, feathers flutter, our barrels he reams. Suck it up and accept, he's not just the color of cream! Lady From The White House
Good evening! Lady From The White House! Frankly I can barely believe I'm talking directly with a pal from The White House, quite surreal to me lol! Mmmm...How is my High-level Friend coping...a lot of bombardment from all directions Booom booom pa booom booom pa...We will...We will Rock The White House...lwl!
We were taught Irish songs sometimes when the Irish nuns came to visit our St Theresa's Convent nestled on a small hill. I remember this one:
When Irish Eyes are Smiling sure it's like a morn in spring In the lilt of Irish laughter you can hear the angels sing When Irish hearts are happy all the world seems bright and gay And when Irish eyes are smiling, they will steal your heart away
Wah! So Lady From The White House has green Irish eyes Oooo-la-la! stuff of fairy tales. Your very eye-opening comment...like the river dyed green in Chicago; now you're back in the Arizona desert! Love hearing from you! With love to you and your family especially...she must be very capable, high-pressure work! Like Mom like daughter. Thank you!
Lady From The White House...Great poem! Green is not likely to be the new theme colour; it was used in the 2016 QAL Europe/Asian Tour...24 shows.
QAL rocked the Singapore Padang/Field, 17 Sept 2016. His green hair matched the City Hall Dome in the background. Very good recording by Violetglitz, glamourises the Dome, a highly historic building where Singapore's Surrender and ultimate Return were officiated in World War 2. 50,000 mainly Chinese paid dearly with their lives in an ethnic carnage of the century. 80,000 were at this QAL show and Brian spoke Mandarin lwl! Adam shook his bon bon like crazy lol!

Queen + Adam Lambert - Crazy Little Thing Called Love - Singapore F1/GP, 17 Sept 2016
Hi, Lam-my, I wrote that little ditty a couple of years ago when Adam first went green. We had a quick-thinking exercise in an English Phd class, where the instructor gave us a word, and we had two minutes to write a ditty which would match that word which he gave us, 6 times. I was the only one who passed the quick-thinking quiz that day out of 30 students. Thanks to my guy, Adam Lambert, who always made me feel poetic, I got an A+ from the professor, and I dedicated my A+ to Adam Lambert and his green hair in front of the entire class! Lady From The White House
Aha! Lady From The White House...I know exactly what you are referencing; I've said many times already I never knew I could write poems and for that I owe Adam big time! The words just roll out like what you did in 2 minutes. lwl! I wrote lots of reports/appraisals in my work days but never! knew Writing can give me so much joy and probably keep my brain from degenerating in my retirement now. Come to think of it, your Prof might have given me an A+ too; I would have given you a run for the accolade. lol! I enjoy talking to you!
Well, Lamster, I, the English guru, will give you an A+ right now, for all of your imaginative stories and poetry presented to the Glamberts throughout the past many years. I am sure Adam knows whom you are and appreciates all of the attention with which you have blessed him. You are one, true, talented Glambert! A little tidbit of information here; I think one of my poems about Adam personally reached him a few years ago, as I am friendly with the mother of one of Adam's very good friends. I hope he got it and read it and appreciates how we poetically love him........... Lamster, I will check in again here on the blog from time to time to see how you are doing. Lady From The White House
Wah! A+ not bad at all! coming from an English guru! Thank you! As far as I remember, you have expressed your strong liking for my poems right from the beginning and that gave me verification..some 7 years now. I am fairly well-exposed to Bible Psalms and some Shakespeare that I had to study but not in-depth study of poetry writing. You do have rather long influential tentacles to reach people and places...关系 guan si in Chinese (connection/relationship). I actually like your poetry; rather down-to-earth sincere, writing from a different angle.
Hey English Guru ... You actually made me look up Lamster lol! An old word, stems from 'lam' / to thrash! You are quite astute about thrash which I do only in self-defence...using my praying-mantis black-belt kung fu lol! To Lady From The White House...with love from Lamster!

Yeah... where is St. Patrick when we NEED him?

What LAMBERT Outlaw said about 'snakes', in spades.
