Nice that Pharaoh and Adam are reunited. Adam should be home for a stretch of time. I like Shosh's tweet saying that there are lots of things on the horizon, Adam-wise.

Yes, that's good....wish we knew what they all were! Adam likes to keep busy, from his self-description. Hope he gets lots of stuff that's on his bucket list....besides a successful album and tour, of course.

Lol I love watching Pharoh when they take him hiking, so cute! Even cuter is his daddy!!! ❤️

It looks like the "group TV thing" that Adam talked about is an upcoming Elvis tribute show, I think on NBC. I'm guessing that he may sing Heartbreak Hotel or something. Carrie Underwood is involved, along with some other pretty big names. It's the 50th anniversary of Elvis's famous 1968 "comeback concert." We'll find out more soon, I'm sure. So excited that he's involved in this!

I looked up this special on google and seems it will take place from Nashville, Tenn. It does mention about the "big name artists", so it does make sense this "group tv thing"! More info coming soon according to the article I read. It'll be a 2 hour program! Thanks Dee R Gee for the heads up!

One more thing, I saw the 1968 Elvis concert back in 1968, I was in grade school. That evening my mom was preparing dinner, my dad was working, my younger brothers weren't home, so I sat on a wooden kitchen chair to sit up close to my Black and White televsion, so I could feel closer to the action all by myself! My mom never came to take a peek at the concert, stayed in the kitchen, so I had the TV set to myself!

Quite a long time ago, I saw a retrospective on Elvis. When he was in his prime, he was such an arresting performer. And, he DID have a wonderfully rich voice. It was sad to see him near the end...he did not look at all well in his later years. But his voice did not seem to leave him along with his health.

I was never an actual fan, but considered him one of the best voices of his time. In fact, except for a brief "crush" on Gene Kelly during the heyday of "The Musicals", I've never been an actual "fan" of anyone until Adam came along.

Wouldn't it be great if Adam was able to reprise his "Heartbreak Hotel" on the upcoming Elvis tribute show. It's even possible that he might have already been scheduled to do it, and he and Queen decided to incorporate it into their Vegas show in advance.

Well. hope it happens....and maybe Adam will even sing more than one song....he is so pitch-perfect...and so was Elvis....there's not a lot of that (live) going around these days.

I have a question. In all the comments about the videos of Adam doing "Heartbreak Hotel", did anyone see Elvis fans come out to complain and insult Adam like the Freddie fans do? I didn't see any...did anyone else?

Nanbert...The same thought came to mind about QAL including Heartbreak Hotel during Las Vegas residency because of the Elvis tribute coming up! Also I read in one of the concert reviews that Prisicilla Presley liked the way Adam sang Heartbreak Hotel, I think she mentioned something about his voice but can't remember and that Elvis would of liked Adam! Yay Prisicilla approved Adam singing H.H.. But otherwise than that, I have NOT seen any negative comments from anyone at all, all positive!!!

I wonder if Adam will attend the World Premiere of Bohemian Rhapsody movie at the SSE Arena, Wembley in London on Tuesday, 23rd October 2018.
Queen announced last week that the Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack album will be released on Oct. 19 and feature some previously unreleased material.

I think I read/heard that ADAM has a few projects he's working on besides his album .. animated movie voice over? and a couple other things .. can't remember what all at the moment .. lucky if I remember to eat .. all I do is sleep most of the day .. but never mind me .. just a reminder to keep voting & confirming your vote every 48 hrs. .. new month .. he didn't win last month .. so let's see if we can make him #1 as a Halloween gift .. OK??

For what it's worth .. I have the Elvis Comeback Special that I recorded from PBS many moons ago but it's on VHS .. also the Aloha from Hawaii Special .. also on VHS .. they may not even be any good after all these years but I'd sure like to get them transferred on DVD's so I could watch them .. also have QAL DVD from the Elton John Special .. ADAM's first appearance with QUEEN on tour!! Couldn't help myself .. had to have it so I bought it .. the narration isn't in English but I don't care .. QAL is .. that's all that matters to me!! I have all of ELVIS movies on VHS .. some pre-recorded .. some I recorded on my VCR back in the day but I don't know if they are any good!! Since ADAM came along .. they've just been sitting on the shelf!! I think I was one of ELVIS' first fans in 1956 or 1958 when Heartbreak Hotel came out .. ran right over to the record store & bought it on vinyl & 45 rpm ... don't have them anymore .. creek overflowed & the flood took them away .. lost a lot of my records .. I was broken hearted so I had to replace the originals .. too bad .. I'd be rich today!!

Is it possible this is the Elvis tribute show being discussed? If so, it looks like a contest between the top Elvis impersonators. Maybe there's a different one as well.

The 2-day Elvis tribute info that I've read so far is taking place next week, Oct. 10 and 11. I don't think it's a taping for a future date. I sounds like it will be on NBC those two night. Besides Adam, it wil include Shawn Mendez, Jennifer Lopez, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Ed Sheeran, Little Big Town, Josh Groban, Blake Shelton, and others.

I saw a list of songs. There will be a medley of Heartbreak Hotel, All Shook Up, and Hound Dog. It would be so great if Adam could do this medley! Perfect songs for him. But I don't know. I just know he is a part of it and he will be in the company of some other very big stars.

Read more here:

Sorry I can’t post all of the orher info about filming which will take place over 2 days etc. as a separate blog thread yet as I’m away from my computer..

More to come!

Thanks, glitzy. I had a busy day and was just getting back here to say that this Elvis special will not be aired till 2019. Apparently it's being filmed next week and they need people to be the age-appropriate audience for a 1968 concert. I hope Adam has a good part in the whole thing and gets some attention for it. He's in good company!

Would SO love if he got to sing that medley of Heartbreak Hotel, All Shook Up and Hound Dog. I guess I can dream, can't I? I love seeing the photos that have been posted over the years that show how much Adam resembles Elvis when they are side by side in similar hairstyles and poses. It's really astounding sometimes.
