Helloo Chibi Adam Waah, holding a bouquet of 9 pink roses Swerving purple coat, golden shoes Floppy hair of the seventies Flamboyance of 21st century Never expected that you could pull off Elvis and Freddie simultaneously In the same Las Vegas residency Lo and behold...you brought them back All in one piece, yet distinctly different Captured their effervescence... To me, Elvis started Rock and Roll While Freddie/Queen did Glam Rock But Adam Lambert rolled them up together Yet keeping their distinct flavour The ability to take whatever And transform it into another Is the work of an artistic connecting Master...
Just saw a video of Panic At The Disco sing Bohemian Rhapsody at the AMAs. I did not watch the program, just saw the video. The did a very good job, and Urie, the lead singer, did very well. No Adam-level glory notes or richness, but he did really well. Apparently, PITD has sung this song now and then in their set for quite a while. Adam would have done a great job, of course.
Sometimes I get a little frustrated when I hear someone sing a song that Adam has sung. The audience usually loves the singer and thinks they're great, and that's fine. But I always find myself saying to myself, "Well, I wish you would hear Adam sing this song, too." I just want everyone to experience that incredible voice.
Preference in singers is such a personal thing. And "best" is a matter of personal taste. Urie did a really good job and the band deserves the positive response they got. But that little "but have they heard Adam?" is often in my head. I know. I know. It's fan thing. I can't help it. Guilty as charged.
Adam's character is the Playmobil movie is called "Emperor Maximus." He's a villain! More to come. I'm sure a thread will appear here soon. The cast is really good!
AMAs 2018: Panic! at the Disco Honor Queen With Live ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/amas-2018-panic-at-the-disco-queen-bohemian-rhapsody-734485/
Grotesque interpretation. I did not like at all.I think it's the worst cover of a song I've ever heard.
Not bad .... not the worst version of Bohemian Rhapsody I've heard .... Kanye West and Robbie Williams take the accolades for that .... but as we all know, we've certainly heard better versions.
Adam looks good in purple! I did watch the American Music Awards, this award show doesn't excite me anymore like in my younger days. Lol. I thought Panic at the Disco version of Bo Rhap was alright, wasn't bad but not to sound mean, Adam sings it better. So use to Adam singing this, that no one else will do.

We all are probably prejudiced....but I also prefer Adam's rendition....with Queen, of course!
