Yep, been to Florence only for 1 day...famed for their leather, continued onto Milan, Venice, Rome. Sculptures / ancient ruins lined the streets and yes, St Peter's Basilica, Vatican. Saw the embalmed bodies of Popes under the side altars; thought they were not real; they are, now I think entombed in a special Shrine in the Basilica. The only place I left out regretfully on hindsight, was Sistine Chapel, stunning, soulful, one of its kind, Michelangelo's ceiling paintings:

I love that Adam tries to find time to visit museums and explore the many cultural aspects of the countries he visits. The Uffizi Gallery is magnificent! He has become quite a "seasoned" traveller by this time.

I love when Adam shares his videos on his many trips especially the museums with us fans! This is a beautiful video and of course Adam would show us in detail the statue of Michaelangelos David! Lol. Leave it to him to do so. I've never beeb to Italy but I have cousins and their children go to school for studies over in Italy! I too want to go to Vatican City, one aunt of mine went but it was years ago.

Ugh, I meant I've never BEEN to Italy. Another correction is that I have cousins and their children who had gone to Italy to school for studies.

It really is very kind of Adam to always think of others, his fans. Lovely to post all the videos he did above and so many more through the years. My oldest daughter and her husband before they had children went to Italy on their first wedding anniversary it was at the time the last Pope was gravely sick and then ultimately passed away.
These videos I saw are the best most artistic I've seen from there. We are very lucky fans to have such a thoughtful artist in our lives.

Lam-My couldn't remember the name Antinous was the tattoo he had so thank you for that ! he seems to love to visit the museums and art galleries, Michael Angelo's" David" reminds me of school, way back we had a copy of the statue in the massive entrance hall, (it was an all girls school surprisingly too !!) in an old stately home/mansion, we always giggled (as you do at 12) everytime we passed it lol, I've read Adam's going to London for some photo shoot, wonder if it's promotion work for the new QAL tour OR fingers ever crossed something to do with his new album ?? or might be some fashion shoot ?no doubt we'll find out soon !

Opened my Chicago Tribune this morning and when I got to The Life & Travel section page 8, there was the "Celebrity Traveler" column with a great phot of Adam and a shortened version of the travel interview he recently did. So great to know that casual readers who know little about Adam will see the photo and maybe read the article and know that Adam is "out there," being busy doing his job: performing all over the world.

I'm sure the column is syndicated and will likely show up in other publications.

LOVE Adam's video of the Uffizi Gallery! He has always appreciated classical art, sculpture, paintings, of all kinds. And no, they don't all have to be nude! But the exquisite male nude sculptures of Michelangelo and others are simply beyond beautiful.

This just in! Rami Malek won for Best Lead Actor at the SAG Awards! Hooray! It's the only one that BoRhap won, but that's fine.

I know Rami was in Mr. Robot and some other roles that earned him some praise. But his role as Freddie Mercury has really been his break-out role. Such great news!

Curious that ISIB isn't winning many of these awards at all. It was predicted that it would be "the" film of the year. We'll see what happens at the Oscars. I'm sure Gaga and Bradley Cooper are hoping they'll get a few awards there. There were lots of great films this year. I saw all but one of the Oscar-nominated Best Pictures. Didn't see Black Panther, but heard it was very good.

IMPORTANT....Off topic now....has anyone noticed that Adam's "Believe" performance from the Kennedy Center has been removed from the internet? SO SAD! Is it possible tht we will NEVER see it again? The last I looked, just the CBS rendition had over 6 million "hits"...and the others totaled many thousands.

So far, the only one I found that hadn't been removed yet was the one entered by "Trespasser". But that's probably gone by now, too. WHY??????????

I will greatly miss that performance, which I have visited at least once a day. It should be kept permanently available to the public...as testimony to Adam's brilliance!

I assume the photo shoot is for the tour promo and related things. Adam looks amazing in that red jacket! My heart was really touched by Brian's comments about the big to-do last week on Instagram. He's a very thoughtful, intelligent man who wisely puts things into perspective. I love these words from him. We should all heed them (paraphrase): "Your followers are not necessarily your friends."

The photo of Adam resplendent in that RED jacket seems to show him opening a package with what looks like a frame in it....a photo, perhaps?...a birthday gift, perhaps? The way Brian and Roger are hovering over him makes it seem that it is from them. Anyone know what it is?

And I don't visit those sites, but am sorry to read above that Brian was slammed by a troll/s on his site. Some people are SO nasty when they are unfettered by anonymity! Poor Brian....he's such a kind and thoughtful man. I don't even know what it was about, but I'm sure he didn't deserve the "to-do" that it evidently received.

Adam said that on the new album would be a lot of instrumental parts. I wonder if Brian and Roger are singing on Adam's album and this can be a connection with the photo shoot.
I think it's at least a nice dream if it's not a reality.

Let me make a guesstimate; Brian and Roger's birthday present looks like a painting; I didn't notice it either. Could it be a replacement for the Freddie Mercury painting that was stolen from Adam's house? Brian and Roger are very caring, thoughtful people and the three Maestros love Freddie.
From what I gathered, perhaps the person/complainant in Brian's unfortunate encounter, wanted attention and some fleeting fame; what better person to steal it from than world-renown Brian May, if one can't get it by fair means.
Envy breeds nastiness, people grab at the slightest opportunity to satisfy their own inadequacies.

I read about what happened.when Brian was attacked by I believe more than one troll. I'm not going into details but had to do with the original director on BR. I believe Brian knew this man better than any of those people and more or less had his back from the allegations of sexual misconduct.
I've read nasty things in comment about Brian only caring about money and total nonsense very mean things of course we know Adam had his fair share of total useless trolling.
These people think know one knows who they really are they can say whatever BS they want. Well some spiritual being bigger than any person on earth does know who they are and there time will come. Both Brian M and Adam L are humble sweet people with indescribable
Fabulous talent Rodger to of course. However it seems Brian and Adam who are more out spoken it seems get the biggest amount of trolling as gains them.
I pray they never change and continue to be the great people they are. I just read some on BM Instagram certainly backing him. So Brian and Adam you have very loyal fans that do love you and want to be your friends as much as a mere fan can. Correction that was the biggest amount of trolling are thrown at B and A not the word gains auto correct strikes again.

I do not know much of the allegations leveled against that movie director but certainly Brian does. Know the man better than most. I do not know if there is any truth to what he is accused of or not. Highly doubt these nasty people know the truth either.
