A company outside Lancaster, Pennsylvania built the set & stage for Q+AL's 2019 tour:
Lancaster Online: TAIT Q+AL TOUR STAGE
___________
And here is the page on the company's website about the 2017 Q+AL tour for which they also created the staging (this year's tour has no page on their site ... yet):

From what I've seen in the vids, the staging spectacular! I know when we watch the vids we don't always get a full-stage view. Usually more focused on Adam. But I am super excited to see the show in person on August 8 in Chicago!!!!!!
Meant August 9. Friday.
And nice to see the big steam shots onstage. I kinda missed them. They're big and showy, just like Queen. And the Dallas cheerleaders were a fun, over-the-top surprise. I'm sure QAL has secured another "first" by being the first rock band to appear in concert with pro team cheerleaders. Just sayin'.
Fantastic job on the tour stage!
The lighting at the Vegas show last September was outstanding and perhaps my favorite (and, mind you, that was a Vegas theatre, although large at 5000 seats, it is much more contained than an arena and has the ability to do be a bit more flexible), but staging-wise, this one takes the cake, I thought it was so brilliant.
The one thing I miss, which is from the 2014 tour, are those high stair towers on either side of the stage that Adam got to walk up and be closer to the audience, and he could use it as a prop, in a sense and play with it. One of my favorite moments from back then was on the non-US part of the tour when they did "Save Me" and he started it up on Stage Left stair tower, leaning on the railing, later slowly walking down the stairs, and it made the performance all the more poignant.
Oh and, yah, not so much staging, but set-piece-wise, one item I wish they could have also brought back from 2014: the divan for KQ. Adam doing the song on that was one of the most EPIC sequences of ANY of the tours and I think it curried so much favor with those who came to the show not really knowing who Adam was. On the piano for this one was definitely fun, but he's set so far away from the audience the performance of that number loses some of its wonderful intimacy, and being on the robot head for the 2017 tour was also fun, although that one had its limits -- and they repeated that for Vegas.
But, no, yah, LOVED everything they did with the overall staging and video for this tour. If you've yet to see the concert, you're gonna love it all!!
broddy, I agree with you about KQ on the divan. It was a favorite of mine. Adam really got to camp it up and show his personality and humor. Not to mention the "champagne" streams into the audience. It was a great segment! I do like the piano and the big fan that he's doing now. He mugs it up a lot and it's very cute and sexy.
This tour is SPECTACULAR IN ALL WAYS!
6 days until MY concert! I'm especially interested to see how the current staging plays out in real life. Watching videos makes me wonder if the ever-changing background scenes being played might be distracting from what's happening on stage in front of them--or at least make it less distinguishable from a distance.
However, the large video screens, above, projecting close-ups probably offset that....and I'll admit I like "my Adam" up close and personal! Every expression and movement of his is important in his performances. And, of course, the camera loves him! Me too!
I'm pleased to see that "Frank" still makes an entrance...or exit... during the staging. But I will hate to see him at my concert, because that will mean it's over!
