Ahhh so good to hear a new Adam interview! I was missing his voice and that laugh of his oh how I love it. I can't wait to hear him sing all the songs from VELVET live whenever that day will be. I also loved his commercial! I'll buy a bottle of Adam's coconut water. Lol

Off topic. Once again the Trump campaign used Queen music. This time at his Minnesota Rally. He has no respect for anyone. Hopefully it is resolved for good now.

The Kearns interview of very good! Wouldn't it be great if Adam could do some actual commercials? He'd be great!

Dee R Gee....it definitely used to be considered a "step-down" when an actor or entertainer did a commercial. I don't think a lot has changed, although you do see a few doing it from time to time....usually when a specific celebity becomes a more or less permanent "spokesman" for a certain product.

Actually Adam already does something similar when he wears and identifies clothing from various designers....like Gucci.

Celebrities can do very well doing a commercial. I think of Matthew McConaghay doing those Lincoln ads. When the celeb is high-end and the product is high-end, it's a good thing.

Dee R Gee...yes... I was thinking about the same commercial....but forgot McGonaghay's name. He's an example that I was thinking of when a celebrity becomes a permanent "spokesman" or representative for a product. And certainly, those commercials are big bucks! But you already have to be a very well known A+ celebrity to even qualify...and then good enough to keep it!

Obviously, in McGonaghay's case, no one would think he was doing commercials because he couldn't find work in movies...which used to be considered the reason However, the type of parts he plays is important in wanting him to represent a product....his car commercial calls for a macho, masculine, heroic persona.
